Beautiful Z28!! Gorgeous paint job! 💪👍 Black Beauty I had a ‘78 Z28 that looked almost identical, except the hood scoop was flipped & not functional in the ‘78’s
What an elegant car. All that beautiful woodwork. I was looking at a sad example today, a collector/hoarder has it sitting out in the New England weather where it is rusting away, I didn't look inside but judging by the condition of the other 100 cars on his property it will be horrible. He has an Alfa 1750 GTV I'm trying to buy from him, the greenhouse of the two cars are similar, light and airy.
@@dkclassiccars8415 Went back to take more pics of the Alfa I'm trying to buy, also took some of the BMW 2000. That poor BMW is beyond help imho, and I am one to be generous, but so much rust, so very much deterioration of the interior. I just hope to get the Alfa, it's bad but still not beyond rescue.
Lovely engine sound. Respectable performance, capable of 130+km/h cruising speed similar to that of Volkswagen 1500(1493cc 45ps), yielded from its 1221cc 50ps engine, and lambent inside/out make her a masterpiece machine, I do assess!!
A very general and maybe nonesense question: These cars are very prone to rust. Almost the worst one in BMW history. What normally shall be done during restoration to prevent the rust in upcoming years?
It's all a matter of perspective. A 1974 model year car with a top speed of 237 km/h was pretty good for its time and will outrun many modern cars, including the Prius.
Très bel exemplaire mais il faut noter qu'il n'y a pas d'inter coolers. L'air des turbos n'est pas refroidi par échangeurs...c'est ennuyeux. (great car but without inter coolers)
Throughout its production history, various engines were utilized, including the high-end Essex and Cologne V6 models. In contrast, the lower-specification models used the Kent straight-four and Taunus V4 engines. Engine size ranged from 1.4 liters to 5 liters. This is the 2.3-liter Cologne V6 engine model.
I live in South America now and I found one of these for sale down here for about 8000 USD. If I had the money I would snatch it up. What a cool car thank you for your video.
