Welcome and Hello! My name is Marlene and this is my 2nd RU-vid channel. This channel features grocery hauls, all things prepper pantry, canning, meal planning, gardening and anything else I can think of!!
Crackers and chips do not keep very long. Missouri has so much humidity, that they go stale very quickly. However, they can be used for things like coating meats and veggies, or using in meat loaf. I try not to waste anything.
Thank you so much! That is a great way to build up a pantry! I am minimizing my pantry right now due to my teenage son moving out. We need less food and there are items he loved that I gave to him!
Hahaaha...I often find that I have a catch phrase or a certain word that I use too much. I will try to work on that, but it will probably turn into another phrase or word! 😉😂😂
@@SnowGardener I know. It's easy to fall into an overused phrase. I tend to say "really" a bit too much when I'm talking to someone. I guess that's why I notice that kind of thing.
How fun!!! She got not only meals for dinners but as you said snacks and salads for lunches and I’m sure leftovers for another dinner or lunches what a great haul and a fun challenge ❤❤
@@SnowGardenerI have attached a recipe in the comments. Once you make the sauce you put the hot dog in the bun, add the sauce top with a finely chopped coleslaw. Enjoy. You can also add diced onions.
I think you got some great deals……especially the cereal! I also love & use ibotta….I’m currently scooping up all the deals on tuna (hubby’s favorite when I don’t cook). As soon as I saw your artichoke hearts, I wanted to share this recipe and then at the end of your video you asked for some! Soooooo……Google "chicken thighs with feta & artichoke hearts" and find the recipe by SkinnyTaste. It’s one of our favorites and we eat it at least once a month. Those roasted artichokes w/ a bit of feta are my favorite part! 😊

I think you did great, considering the sale prices vs. original prices. And it's not like you buy them every week. You will get multiple uses out of some of them.
Something that I don't usually make in the summer are Red Beans and Rice, but I had a craving. I use Zatarains Red Beans Seasoning Mix (NOT the one with rice) because I haven't quite gotten the seasonings to my taste. I also like Chicken Spaghetti, Pasta Primavera, Pasta Salad, any anything cool during the summer ... salads, sandwiches, wraps. Pam, over on Rosered Homestead just put out a video on making/freezing Chicken Primavera that I want to make soon (minus the zucchini).
Flatbread is delicious. Great deals wow cereal is so expensive that is great 👍 i think you did great 👍 kiabosa alfredo with pasta and vegetables like broccoli 🥦
I think the dip was a good deal! Quite honestly, if you bought all the ingredients and added them up plus your time I don't think you'd save all that much money. Besides that, treats are important! I'm a new subscriber. I enjoy your content!
Some meal plans for you, it’s just my husband and I and we both work til 5 so quick meals for weeknights are a must. I prepare some of the freezer marinated meat recipes by Becky at Acre Homestead and pack into single meals, take one out the night before, cook/grill/bake etc and frozen/canned vegetables for a side. I can also take out an extra serving of meat and have leftovers for lunch with no extra time cooking dinner but not so many leftovers that food could go to waste. Another meal prep I do is make a couple dozen drop biscuits but I freeze uncooked on a cookie sheet then bake from frozen. If pilsbury can sell them, I can make them 😂
