That's quite a lovely bag! The texture is probably good for light rain and wiping it down with clorox wipes if needed. The color is very lovely and bright too!
Considering getting this bag in the small size. You mentioned it looked like it could fit under the plane seat, have you able to try it since then?! I need something that definitely fits under a seat
I got the Mini and it definitely just pushing the size limits for a personal item! No airline has given me any trouble since I got it early last year, but I definitely would have had issues if I got the Small. The Mini (depending on the airline) already takes up a significant amount of room under the seat in front of me, but it's perfect for all my needs.
PS I have realized that your version is different from the more recent one. I really like the briefcase styling of the newer one. I mentioned earlier my Patagonia carry on. I looked it up and it appears that the newer version is okay, but I don’t like the larger branding and some of the stitching on the new version. The one I have is named slightly differently. The new one is called the Tres. The ones we have are called the Patagonia Headway Briefcase MCL?? 45L. If I could I would post a photo. I did see a review by a guy but his was an earlier version. Ours is so awesome and has been checked, too, with zero damage. It’s waterproof, indestructible. I love it sooooo much, but want to try BTTM Mini for my personal item. I want to write to Patagonia to suggest they return to that earlier model although the newer one looks similar. Either way it carries a TON!!! And you CAN hide the various straps, including the backpack ones so that they won’t get snagged on a conveyer belt.
Wow! First, you are adorable and you did a killer job on this video. Second, I’m writing this on 12/15/21, and, OMG, I remember when we hoped on 3/18/20 that things would die down in a few weeks! I wonder if you ever made it to Germany. I’ve had to travel a few times but with major caution and I spent extra to fly on Delta so that the middle seats were left open. My husband and I are supposed to go on a business trip next month and it STILL looks iffy because of Covid. And CA is implementing mandatory indoor mask-wearing again (we personally never stopped, and have been triple vaxed-so I’m happy that you mentioned staying safe and doing our part; thanks for being so sane!). I am thinking of buying the Go Mini as a personal item for the trip. Did you end up liking you Go Small for travel, if you’ve gotten to do some? Thanks for the review. :-). PS. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the black Patagonia carry-on, that you can get online and/or at the Patagonia store in the Meatpacking District, where I bought my first one. It’s amazing. They discontinued or skipped making it for a year or so but I’ve bought three-I only need one, forever, but one is my husband’s, and the other was a replacement because my first one was stolen when my rental car was broken into. 😥.). Thank you! I haven't been able to go to Germany yet but I was able to use my bag on a few road trips. Still love it. I was able to pack 4/5 days of clothes in there along with toiletries. I though about taking it on a few flights as a personal bag but I was afraid they'd say it was too big. Thanks for the Patagonia tip, I'lll check it out. Sorry that one of yours was stolen. I LOVE YELLOW! Thinking of getting a mini (32L) go bag for the gym, the updated design is less cylindrical and more boxy though which is not a deal breaker... what is annoying is that those backpack straps look like they cant be tucked away.
