Here at devious Kustomz we bring hot to videos on basic maintenance on cars to high performance mods. We have Fords, Dodge, VW, BMW you name it we can mod it. Wiith each video we will try to make it easy for viewers to utilize some tech info while getting the insight they need.
How the hell did you get your sway bar to mount on the driver side, exhaust headers seem to be in the way in my set up. I know this vid is 3 yes old but worth a shot lol
Ah yes, this is the vid I meant to comment on. It shows how the pipe routes through the suspension a-arm area. Not sure why mine is so much different but at least i have pics to compare. Might be an incorrectly manufactured pipe n can get a replacement
Been searching the net to see video/pics of how the pipe that connects downpipe to tailpipe fits through the steering arm and rack&pinion rod area. My pipe intersects with the rack&pinion rod. Looking forward to rippin once its all done.
Your telling me you did what your supposed to do when it comes to heat cycling in a new kit! Lol good job bud kit looks awesome. This makes me want to do the on3 kit now
My mmr teksid block ha s been built over 3 years ago sitting in a crate gonna throw her in the engine stand this weekend and oil her all up and wrap her up again till I’m really to strip down my mustang, just working on interior and just finished the rear end t2 torsen mosser axles 3.73 gears and t56 trans
I just ordered a hellion twin turbo kit about 30 mins ago, going with bigger turbo, I kinda I’d wish I weren’t with a custom custom kit m, since it would be nice to have some snails under the hood and not behind the bumper, went with a 9:5 compression truck flow notched piston, I think a 9:5 is a hood number so I can run some nice e85 and pump!!! I do have a water meth kit as well
CG fab makes a very nice twin turbo hotside that puts the turbos under the hood. Its pricey though. I run their single turbo setup for a 4v and I love it.
How easy is this kit to install? I’m building a 2v right now have a 8.5 compression 4.75 mmr 1000se stroker shortblock with ported trick flow 44cc 185 series heads I have a procharger kit p1sc for it but I don’t think I will even make power cause of the low compression on the car so was gonna look into a twin turbo kit and turn it right up
It would run just fine on the low compression and probably do so on pump 91/93. However, it would definitely be worth good power going up even half a point. Not worth a piston change in a fresh engine tho.
@@madmod I got the engine super cheap, guy had bought it new from mmr and wanted to sell it due to covid 19 and low compression compared to this engien is worth new and what I paid I don’t like changing out the pistons at all, I was planning on getting rid of the rods and pistons just for insurance to get in over 1000hp range later down the road it has Mmr Manley pistons and manly h bean, I don’t like the Manley stuff but don’t trust it as much as i do with cp, or Oliver and run diamond or JE PISTON
@@2vgod460 factory Ford 03-04 Terminators used manly connecting rods. As for Pistons I trust any of the big name forgings for handling boost assuming you have proper ring Gap. My understanding is MMR does a lot of work keeping tight piston to wall clearances as well as proper ring gapping.
No need to go that low with compression, this isn't 1985. The low compression isn't noticeable on terminators because of the roots blower, you will be missing that torque off boost. With those heads you can go up to 10.5 to 1 and never have to worry about detonation.
What injectors are you running and also did the kit come with piping that took the exhaust that far back to the car / is the Dow pipe catted and is there a car less option
@@Nlsperformance_TalknSmak Just how you ran it. I have a moroso oil pan so I don't need to worry about tapping it. The issue I'm having is I don't see how it won't hit the hot side up pipe. Thank you for the quick reply!
