Dude I rarely comment but as an aspiring cymbalsmith this shit just rules! Idk how you don’t blow up with some of these stainless/titanium cymbals. I really want to do this stuff myself for a hobby and you are an inspiration. If I ever get the funds I swear to freaking god I will buy one of your large ride cymbals before ANYTHING else. The fact is, it's big. It looks cool with a 18-12-14 setup! However, it's not about the appearance but the great sound possibilities and power it offers! I recommend large ride cymbals.
@@KmicicCymbals personally, as a rock drummer, 22" seems to be the perfect amount of warm and cut for me, but if I was primarily a jazz player, I'd definitely go for bigger rides.
Yes, it is special titanium steel. But it's more about my ears. In earlier videos, I show how a blank of such steel sounds without forging. Thank you for your interest and best regards!! ❤
Ufip is a commercial brand- we forged custom cymbals. I play UFIP cymbals 15 years ago :) you hear on video how they sound. I don use any mixing or effect for my video.
@@KmicicCymbals No, para nada. Paiste y Masterworks hicieron rides pequeños con las mismas prestaciones que se esperan de un plato de conducción. Medidas 12", 14",15", 16", 17" . Hay que salir de lo común y trillado, se sigue insistiendo en sonidos usados por más de 70 años . El solo hecho de escuchar el patrón atresillado clásico en el Ride me hace bostezar. Nuevas herramientas para nueva música se necesitan.
Para que tan grande? No puedes conseguir fundas para transportarlo y tiene un sustain incontrolable.Hay que construir platillos más pequeños ride. Menos es más.
Large?? He's not large at all. Besides, he's custom-made. Is he hard to control?? Yes!! Because it's a thin cymbal. You need to learn it... like any instrument. I invite you to the website, there you'll find smaller cymbals.
