We visited there in early July, 2024. Although Munnar is not affected by the Wayanad tragedy, still its not advisable to travel to any hilly area during this time of the year.
Take a straight drive ...This is the order...Chalakudy,Thumboormozhi, Athirapilly, Charpa,Vazhachaal,Poringal Kuth, Sholayaar, Upper Sholayar, Vaalparai, Marayoor, Munnar, Kochi....Many places on the road encounter wild animals including elephants,...and a nice drive.
@@buzzwithbindiya2975 Hi, There is a major landslide in Wayanad, Kerala. Also, situation is not so good in Munnar. I believe you should avoid going to any hill station in monsoon.

@@CinemaTalkiesPro sure, there is a route via forest area (just follow the google maps). Make sure to leave by early noon as it’s a jungle area. The scenery of the route is very beautiful and worth experiencing.
