I disagree it’s more about the way men these days are raised… I don’t know about the us but in the uk there is also a lot of Saudi influence. also Muslim women tend to be more strong minded because we’re visibly Muslims and learn as soon as we wear hijab to be strong (certainly Arabs who have a lot of proximity to whiteness) whereas the men are invisible and can get away with more if they people please so it becomes a habit.
