Another tip on finding neutral. I've been battling that for 30 years 🙂 Of course the EVO, TC, and M8 all require a little different finesse. On my 2023 I have found it very easy. Starting from first gear, shift up to second. Then just gently tap the toe shift down out of 2nd, it usually always hit neutral. The engine should be running. Test it out.
Hi do you have a link or website where I can purchase these from? I have a 2022 Heritage and I know what you mean my right leg is too close to the exhaust
Ok, I have to call a bit of BS cause you need to open the piece connecting the linkage it does not fit just as this guy put it on…. I just bought this and well it’s not nearly as smooth as this guy states
I’ve had a full pelt sheepskin pad from Alaska Leather for years and it’s great! I definitely sweat less sitting on it and it’s a nice buffer between me and a hot Harley engine. If you need to clean it, hand wash with some baby shampoo and flat dry and it fluffs up again.
The best advice is not to buy a motorcycle with severe vibrations. At least get a motorcycle without severe vibrations in the handlebars. That's the cheapest solution.
Windshield looks really nice. Not long had my RKS so now looking at options. I live in the UK so how easy it is to get bits (that aren’t Harley)I don’t know yet.
Fill the oil onky half way between full and low. Some people even do only 1/4 the way up the mark on the dipstick. Usually does the trick. Gives more room for pressurization jn the crankcase wand oil lines without forcing oil thru the breathers.
Excellent review. The Road King Standard was better than the Heritage (for two-up especially) and more comfortable (less $ in modifications) than the RK Special. I’ve owned all three late model editions.
Dont dump 36oz of Primary Fluid in a 2021 Touring model like my tech did on the 1K. 2021 Touring Service manual states 34 dry/30 wet. I took out 36 and put in a measured 30 and it is correct visually. (yes checked gear box to make sure no migration).
Dear Mr. McConaughey ,you are so blessed to be able to own 4 of the most amazing motorcycles to ever ride the American roads.i would be willing to detail all your cars and your bikes if there is a possibility that you can help me out on just one nice used bike. I just retired at 62.and this is the only thing on my bucket list.Denis Brossard.from Naples Florida. Thank you for your consideration. Im also a big fan!
Hello, Excellent video. Great job. Harley store dosen't sell anymore those parts. I have an road king specia and I would like to install the auxilary lights, Do you know where can i can get those parts? Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and view. I have to agree that this is a much better system . I can't seem to find neutral half the damn time. It drives me crazy, thinking it's because of cheap stock components
@@tylerfree6238 thanks for sharing I was considering this upgrade but after this set up and adjusting clutch properly I don't think I need it but I might still do it one day. Appreciate the note
Have literally never had issue adjusting a harley clutch. Everyone bitched about them. Run the scre in till it reists and back it out a quarter turn. Then make your cable slack adjustment...
The service manual says to back it off 1/2 to a full turn from lightly seated so 3/4 of a turn from lightly seated would be in the middle of that spec.
