Everything leading up to the fortress scene was perfect in season 5. All of it was exactly how Lena would react. The mistake the show made was after crisis. Lena held in to that anger to long and chose Lex without much of a fight. They really damaged Lena's character in that last half and while Katie did her best to show that Lena still had regrets and doubted her choices it wasn't enough to fix the damage the show did
i've never seen glee before, and I didn't know it was Melissa singing but i thought it sounded like her 😅. then I went and read the comments and it is her and that she was in glee. so i watched glee LMAO. I'm currently in the 5th season. i didn't even bother to search that she wouldn't show up until the 4th season, but hey, it's not such a bad show. learned quite a few life lessons, wished I watched it when I was still highschool though but nah.
Kara: Don't you ever say, I just walked away, I will always want you Lena: I never meant to start a war, I just wanted you to let me in. Kara: I can't live a lie, running for my life I will always want you. Lena: Instead of using force, I guess I should've let you win. Kara: All I wanted was to break your walls. All you ever did was wreck me.
This show started reasonably well, but it sure did not end well; Lena was frankly abandoned to witchcraft by her "friends" who appeared to endorse that kind of gang behavior of the occult; and Kara's adoptive sister was frankly escorted to the slave-trading docks to go into frankly sodomy nonsense. For a show with serious potential, it was frankly a disaster in the end.
They're truthfully best friends, but Lena was an *idiot* with a capital "I" therein at the beginning of it for electing to engage in the occult by the end of the show. However, they left off when they really had promising material to go with, like Lena's buddies engaging in an intervention to get her to come to her senses about that sort of mafia deals she'd find herself involved in... buddies like Sam and Andrea, who themselves found themselves in similar deals, much to their chagrin.
