Hello and Welcome I'm Ethan, a guy who loves movies, TV shows, gaming, books and engaging in anything pop culture. I love being able to share all my thoughts and opinions on anything I watch with anyone who will listen (yes I have always being the guy who talks through movies). There is nothing worse than watching a great TV show or movie and then having no one to talk about it with so I hope I can be that person for anyone and everyone.
This was a great episode for Cash not in that good things happened for him because actually terrible things happened but he finally said his truth out loud. He was like you did do good things for me but this was never a family now that I know what a real family is I would rather die than give it up and go back to whatever it is that we were. So power, such a great moment for him and also learning the meaning of his name devastated me.
When a Bene Gesserit becomes a reverend mother they gain access to all the memories of their female ancestors. Because Jessica was pregnant, her daughter Alia became aware and gained access to those memories in the womb. Basically Alia is born as a full reverend mother, and only looks like a child. You’re right…it is creepy. 😂😂
I absolutely loved Dune when I watched it in theaters. And you will love Dune part 2 as well. Also this movie is gay panic for me with both Timothy and Zendaya in it
Your podcast vibe is just different. I honestly am not a podcast person. I do not listen to podcasts. I find them boring. But yours is different and holds my attention. Maybe there's something to say for yours not being chill to the max like the others. Yours is still a relaxing time, don't get me wrong. But with a different vibe.
I like that they wrote that Victor's mom is the one having the acceptance problem and not the dad because it's usually always the other way around. And "Man, you can watch me shower any day", was too funny!
fun fact, Lucy Gray was named after the poem Lucy Gray which is about a girl who got lost in the snow and the song Lucy Gray part one and part two are a rendition of the poem!
I just stumbled on your channel a few weeks ago, and found this playlist today. Boyfriend Material and it's sequel are among my favorite books, and the author, Alexis Hall, has become one of my favorite authors to read as well. I hope you enjoyed this book (just getting started on this playlist, so I will see if you did in the last video) and if so, hoping you review the sequel Husband Material for the further adventures of Luc and Oliver.
I loved how Hayes listened to her story about Daniel and you could see his face change to YOU ASSHOLE when she reveals he cheated and hurt her, but If Daniel WASN'T an asshole Solene would still be married and HE might have taken the daughter to Coachella and they would have never met. So, we do have to give Daniel props for being an idiot asshole.
Sadly in this movie, they couldn't replicate his thought process. Because in his inner monolog, he was just always thinking about himself. Didn’t love Lucy Gray, just saw her as someone whose his. Didn’t like Sejanus either. If I remember correctly, he didn’t cry when died, he just try to make an excuse as to why he had to die. Also the whole "Where is Lucy Gray?", we as the audience don't know. People say she died, or she actually escaped. All that matters is that she's free.
In the movie all his decisions benefited himself. As someone who read the book after seeing the movie, there was not much that I felt lost on. He was clearly driven by poverty at first and then power, and then completely stepped over the line to where anyone in his way was expendable. The missing inner dialogue argument really boggles my mind because his dialogue and decision making in the entire movie showed his inner motivations. At least to me it did.
The first one he killed was the tribute in the games, then Mayfair, and then Sejanus. She’s a performer she likely knew he was lying, and that he might kill her to cover his tracks, she wasn’t going to reveal him to the capital (couldn’t really bc she’d likely get killed by Mayfair’s dad) but I think she saw that he was crossing that line into evil and that she needed to run.
The intro to this video was PERFECT. Also been looking forward to watching this reaction ever since I saw ur tweet. To me this movie perfectly showed why Snow became the way he was. The only thing I can say whitout spoilers (Also the actress who plays dispair in Dead Boy Detectives and The Sandman responed to a response I made to a tweet of hers, Do we still follow my ramble cause I dont😂)
I think they did an incredible job! I mean it is not easy to make a prequel, most of the time it fails but this film connected to the original films in a very smart way. I would love to see Snow’s journey and the fraction between him and Tigress. The actors and the score is incredible 🙌🏻🙌🏻
when I watched this for the first time I understood why lucy left because he was crazy but now watching it back lucy kinda f’ed everyone over having snow go back to the capital 😂
I loved these episodes! I was waiting on you to recognize that was Simon's dad and you didn't disappoint. Also, I gotta say, your eyebrows are gorgeous!
New shows coming out isnt exactly a good excuse to stop a show literally 1 episode from the end. What was the actual reason? Bet you completely ruined your viewing experience with this decision.
This was supposed to be the end of the series, just this, it was supposed to be only 1 season show, as it was written as a one women show, in theatre, but people loved it so much, they made the second season. It might feel in complete, but this season just shoves you into the most pivotal point of time in fleabags life, and how it changes her, at her lowest, and so the only way to go is up! So yeah I think, both the seasons are very different but complete at the same time 🎀💫
