Thank you for the review, Aaron. Would you recommend these for a wedding band where I am only responsible for lighting up the stage that I occupy? I'm looking at purchasing the dual bundle on Sweetwater and having one at stage left and stage right.
Wow! What a major disappointment this has been. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ILS or anything Chauvet. Ever again. I ordered the command, the gigbar move, and two of the 4bars. First, no manuals. You have to have internet and a device handy. Second, they ought to perhaps train their authorized dealers on what is needed to make this stuff work together. Maybe clue them in how Chauvet wants another sixty bucks a fixture to make it work with the system it's supposed to work with. The command module is overblown, oversized and poorly designed. Especially, the idea combining the enter/select button into the x scroller. Finally, let's talk CHEAP quality. Plastic housings and the REAL kicker is the cheap n flimsy bags for the 4bars with... (I'm not making this up) just a thin strip of styrofoam tossed in there. Sent it all back. I'm dropping this review wherever I can.

I just bought 2 intimidator 160s with chauvet ils command controller with 2 usb dfi sticks and can’t for the life of me figure out how to connect them wirelessly, and the manual is no help
For anyone who runs into the issue of the update not taking, I tried a few usb drives and a Mac and PC what worked for me is a 4gb USB 2.0 (non blue port) formatted (full format not the quick format) with Fat 32, 32kb block size and no volume name. I did use the USA 2.10 firmware and it was a .chl. Once I got off of version 1.5 I never had the black screen of death or boot loop.
I got one back in 2011 and when it was in sound activated mode when the cluster was switched one to the other I thought the leds burned out but it was only the program of the sound activated
Hey all! If get one of these BT lights, will it transmit relevant DMX data on the output so i could chain up slaves? I know they would all be the same color but just wondering if that would work. Thanks!
y'all still aint selling ils. why opt for way less control over the system? lighting really does not serve any purpose without design... its just an annoyance without structure. even the best lights on the market are obnoxious without a good program behind them
gigbar not connecting. I go setup into DFI - there is no ON option ( only TX / RX/ off) on USB stick i switch 1. and leave other switches in opposite position. There is no connection... I go into automode on gigbar and additional light is off/ I go manual or sound mode and additional light just do not switch on ... no reaction.
Setup - DFI setting - there is no ON setting !!!!! (RX / TX / off) I can't pair other device please assist explain with pic, in which positions to set USB as well ( for example channel 1) I don't understand how to connect it.
I can't connect gigbar ILS with ILS light... I have USB., in your info Video you say to set gigbar menu for ON. well I have only off -RX or TX - there is no ON.... can you show precisely how to switch those points on USB for channel 1 ? I pick only 1 and leave other triggers in opposite. I try other way round... no reaction...
Can I use the machine for cinematic purposes and only use Haze, without bubbles? And can the machine produce bubbles without using the Haze function? And lastly, you can't make fog from haze can you? So that it is a hazer and fogger in one. Kind regards, Chris
the lighting looks great, great inspiration video but I would've love to have seen each light in it's element, how she set them up on the ils controller & set up scenes.
Unfortunately, a lot of the Chinese lights are pretty impressive based on their price. I’ll wait for the knockoffs. Because For the price of 20 of these, I’d have to take out a mortgages. No thanks.
I'm thinking the same thing. I have 2 intimidator 260xl that I tried to link together but can't get them both to sink with the RFC-xl remote. Frustrating. Why don't you come out with a video showing how to link them both together to do the same thing. I would like to use them at some point. Thanks. you get us excited about product, but nothing on how to use them
I figured out how to do it in 3 mins lol you have to go the settings and click on run mode. Then you have to connect it with your remote. You do it one by one with your fixture.
I always wonder when people demo things, why don't actually use the product.... Would of been nice to see it work while you were talking about different functions.
