Korcula and Hvar are beautiful , Korcula is more to relax and breath life where Hvar is more party town , I will pick Korcula over Hvar any time …. But both just stunning islands
The car park is free after 5pm and you can walk across the bridge free too. The best time to see it is at twilight / dusk because it is illuminated by the artificial lighting.
We have 5 days, departing korchula on Sept 9th to visit hvar and brac. Do you recommend staying on one island and taking the ferry for the day to the other. We have to be in split on the 14th to fly home on the 15th. Packing up to move every few days is a lot.
So on the website they have the prices, is that in NZD? Currently booking from the US and I’m so confused the reviews say that people paid $90 or $78 but when I go on the website it says $158! 😭 just need some clarification, thanks 🙏🏽
Hello, I think that is priced in NZD since with the current exchange that is about 90 USD. I heard they were adjusting their prices when the renovations were complete.
We really enjoy hiking and didn't find it very difficult, but it probably depends on the person. Here's a link with more information about the hike: www.alltrails.com/trail/greece/santorini/fira-oia
During the summer a red bus called BERNINA EXPRESS like the train connects Lugano with Tirano and vice versa. It is accessible with Eurail, Interrail, Swiss Travel Pass and similar passes.
They have now built in behind a couple of the doors so you can explore a couple of the hobbit holes now. I live very close so looking forward o going to check them out with some friends.
We arrived around 6:00pm. This was in late September, so you should probably adjust depending on the time of year you go. Hope you get to watch sunset from the top. It's beautiful!
Yes, we bought our tickets in advance using an app called SBB Mobile (Swiss Rail). At the last minute, we decided to upgrade our tickets to the panoramic carriage, We were able to pay the attendant for the upgrade. I think you might be able to book the panoramic carriage in advance, but I'm not sure.
Thank you! We have been trying to book it but it seems confusing as it says ticket reservation but it comes at a price of 340 for 4 so not sure if the tickets is included 🤦🏻♀️
