Me and my other half are going on the discovery princess in October 2024 to the Mexican Rivera. Now we’re excited but we’ve never been on princess Norwegian has been our cruise company of choice. So, this is going to be different for us. Have you been on Princess before? Any suggestions for first timers to Princess?
The island you went to in Puerto Vallarta at night time they do a show called rhythms of the night too bad you guys weren’t able to do that. It was amazing. I actually have a review of that excursion on my RU-vid channel. It was so so beautiful there.
Love your videos! We board Discovery Princess in 57 days and after watching I'm even more excited now. :) We sail with Princess a lot and have learned to bring our own metal straws for this reason. I love a blended strawberry margarita and those paper straws disintegrate way too fast.
I understand the 1.5 hour delay when ordering food/drinks to be delivered via the app is about the norm. (They would have known this had they watched someone else's review video before cruising...)
First time Millenial cruisers are so "cute." Kind of ironic, though, that people who make a cruise vlog apparently failed to watch other cruise vlogs to learn the mistakes to avoid. 🤪

Gigi's is not included in your basic package any more like the buffet and main dining room. It cost extra to eat there now. It was included when we made our reservation but not when we stepped on the ship. Bait and Switch. Also there is no wait anymore, it's empty.

What package did you guys get? My wife and I are going on our first cruise and are planning on Princess cruise. Should we do the standard, plus, or premium?
Great video! Seems like you had a lot of fun! I’m guessing you would recommend this cruise to other couples? Were there a lot of kids? Thinking about booking it for Christmas.
The "premium desserts" are a bit over the top. My wife and I sailed Discovery Princess/Mexican Riviera the first week of April. I opted to just get 2 scoops of gelato rather than any of the crazy concoctions. The gelato is delicious. The full day at the airport is brutal. We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess in October and purchased a resort day pass at a local Ft Lauderdale resort to kill time before a 6:30pm flight.
Thanks for the great video! I was wondering when you took your cruise, as we did the same itinerary a couple of months ago. Since the video was posted last month I figured you must've caught one of the last sailings before it's repositioning. While I watched the sail away party though, I recognized a few people in the pool! 😄 And my wife recognized Brolin from the magic show. My daughter got a kick out of seeing herself in the pool - even though it was just the top of her face - the rest of her was struggling (for the first time) to swim without her watermelon water wings. Can't wait to get back on the Discovery again in August.
