I am 54 years old and have just recently started reading the Bible for the first time, I think the upside down kingdom bible would help me understand what I am reading and how it relates to todays world.
Hello I really want a csb journalling bible because I love the csb translation it flows easily and is easy to understand. I also want to have a journalling bible to write down my own thoughts and learnings. Thank you.
I would love a book of just the articles and such of the Jesus bible to pair with my everyday Bible. This way I don’t have to have a whole other Bible, but still get the value of what this Bible is getting across. Thought I’d put it out there for suggestion purposes. Who knows. 🤷🏼♀️
Your infectious enthusiasm for God is clearly shown. One topic I personally wrestle with is to engage without being judgemental or employing equivocation in order not to sound judgemental. How do we honestly love one another for God's glory.
Michele, I so appreciate your heart to show love for God’s glory. Truly, the two greatest commands are to love God and love one another. I’m confident that as we ask God’s Spirit for wisdom and guidance, He will direct our paths. 💛
Oh Nina, I’m so sorry for your loss. Know that our Good Shepherd is with you, and He is never left your side. His goodness and mercy are chasing you down, and He will indeed restore to you the joy of your salvation. 💛
I have a beautiful study Bible that I’ve had for years, but it doesn’t have room for notetaking like I’d like to do. I’ve been looking for a journaling Bible, and I stumbled on your review. I love this one!
UPSIDE DOWN....Samuel 22:3:"The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence."
I am new to learning the Bible. I have been trying really hard to study the Bible. Always taking notes and using other resources to try and understand it. My comprehension is not very good. So taking notes is what works for me. I have been looking at note taking Bibles. There are so many.
The LGBTQ+ topic is so emotionally charged and often so personal that it's difficult to talk about rationally and hard to engage in genuine discussion.
I had a panic attack early on during April 2020. I thought I was having a heart attack. My neighbor is a Nurse Practitioner. I called her. She prayed over me and God working through her brought me out of it.
I really enjoy the ESV app from Crossway. It’s got the ESV study bible, but also has other reference bibles, as well, to provide additional context to a particular text.
I am a new subscriber to your channel. As a 69 yr old mom, grandma, I find that I am not biblically prepared to discuss topics we are faced with in todays world. I so want to be! I want to be a Christian woman who is biblically prepared and well versed in Gods word. I want to learn and grow in God's word and be a wealth of biblical knowledge for myself, my family, and my community. I feel this bible would help prepare me in my journey.
The world has felt so upside down the last four years. It’s really tough to discern the truth. I pray for guidance every day. Thanks for reviewing this Bible. It sounds like a great resource to have and to help with these conversations.
Revelation 22:19 “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
😇 UPSIDE DOWN 🥺 Acts 17:6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”King James Version. ✝️
😇 UPSIDE DOWN 🥺 Psalms 146:9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.”King James Version. ✝️
What you said about the effects of David's son's rebellion on David's mental health hit home. I have experienced this with one of my daughters. The hurt is deep and is very raw. Years have passed and we talk often, however, the emotional damage is still there under the surface. It affects every conversation even though it is never mentioned. God cares about our mental health. I KNOW this but sometimes I can't see it or feel it. Thank you for sharing.
I'd say the hardest issues for me to address from a biblical perspective are issues of sexuality and gender identity. I know what the Bible says about them, but I struggle to speak the truth in love to the people I love who disagree with the biblical view.
I think this Bible sounds very interesting. There are so many deeply troubling issues in our world today. I would love to have a deeper knowledge/understanding of the biblical perspective on these issues which is very needed today.
