Welcome to TXMN Elevators! I am an elevator enthusiast based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) metro area. Here you will find a huge variety of elevator videos from not only the Twin Cities metro, but also places like Dallas, Oklahoma City, St. Louis and much more!

Are most University of Minnesota buildings no longer accessible to the public, the only exceptions being buildings like the student union, library, bookstore, etc? I have heard this may be the case. Some campuses in California are starting to restrict building access too.
@upanddownadventures they did secure some of the buildings, but I wouldn't say most. Basically, all the medical buildings and a few that surround them are now keyed or turnstiled, but a lot of the buildings on this campus are still accessible.
24:22 Somehow I managed to show up to film this when American Elevator was there since apparently they are contracted to do maintenance on it since Schindler charges too much. Anyway but it wasn’t actually broken. Apparently the buttons on the two terminal (Top and Bottom) floors were pressed so hard the button boards broke. They have since been replaced and the elevator is back in normal service.
@@TXMNElevators I’m wondering when they’re going to give up on repairing it and just modernize it. It’s had issues for quite some time. There’s a video that someone uploaded about thirteen years ago and it wasn’t even in good condition then.
