Ten years late, but when I press a note the BK doesn't receive it. I've looked at settings but can't figure out why not. Might you know what midi settings I should check? thanks
This video is wonderfully understandable with your precise language and visual exemplification. I can clearly see the chromatic accordion's more efficient use of fingering and economy of movement. The notes are so close by to each other as opposed to running from one end of the piano keyboard to the other and the convoluted fingering needed to end up on the right note with the correct finger so the song can progress. I love the idea of changing key using the same pattern but just at a different location on the button board. My consideration to attempt to learn the chromatic accordion after many years of experience with piano accordion is what brought me here and now I'm inspired. Thank you Leon.
i have the FR-8X it is NOT the same setup as the FR-4X. The menus are different, not counting the connections. DO you have any information on the 8X programming?

This is 2024 and Ijust found this browsing RU-vid. I hobby with piano accordion, but thank you so much for a very clear explanation of the chromatic button accordion. It was clear and precise and with my old fingers I think chromatic button might be worth a change. It seems Scandinavian players favor it from what I've seen. Is Roxy Music still in business?
Oh, I recognize Yuri Char from Malta! He is awesome! Thank you for sharing him playing French musette as well. How fun! He is an extraordinary musician (he plays several instruments) and is an awesome, awesome guy.
To answer your question, I don't think it makes any difference in whether B or C system is better suited for any particular style or genre of music. I think it would really come down to training and the overall mastery of the instrument by the person who plays it, regardless of what style of chromatic system the accordion has.
I have an FR-1xb and I am in love. The FR-4xb is in my future. Not in any way interested in any non-accordion sounds. Just want accordion. Saving my $$$
As a German speaker, I always assumed that "C-Griff" and "B-Griff" would naturally be called "c-grip" and "b-grip" in English, since it's such a non-sophisticated word. Funny to hear "griff" in English.
WOW - think it's about time I (others) comment on this video? You were born to play on a keyboard and entertain the WORLD and do it SOOOO well. Hi very nice video I just bought asecond hand FC-300 and I play the Aerophone AE-30 but i cant caonfigure the FC300 to change the tones , can you help me or tell me where I can find somebody to help me , I just did the pedals and so but can not the the PC thanks
I wish they were still in business…Rose passed away a while back and the store closed. That was the only accordion store in the Rochester/ Buffalo. Based in Batavia NY. So sad
I jumped to c sys about 7 years ago -- the best thing i ever did as far as accordion playing goes ( started at about 8 years old on piano key now 64 c is the way to go ) learn the pattern of c and a -- the rest are the same only need the starting note
The real one sounds much better. Is this because the red one is so small? And how loud is the Roland actually into the microphone, by judt using the accordion speakers?
So basically i have downloaded the Dalape Sound Expansion in m PC. When trying to Load a User set for example 105.ST3 to my Roland Fr1x, the name of the file "105" is displayed on the display, i press enter and then Select the first memory slot. But then when i select that user set no sound is produced as if installed an empty Sound Set. Am i missing some step? Should i upload anything else prior to thesee steps to my Accordion? Ty in advance
