Great video! I think Nimue had resurgence in the story mission meaning she revives at the end of battle if her side wins so to kill her permanently you have to win the battle.
Currently waiting for the Eldritch Realms DLC to start another custom game of this, they are adding a LOT of the stuff I've been wanting for the game from the start. Highly recommend getting the DLCs. They add so much to the game.
@@TheTrueMightyMage Oh definitely. They add 2 new cultures; Reaver, the technomagic users with cannons and muskets, and the Primal, which you can customize their second magic affinity and change their function slightly. Dragon Dawn adds Dragon Lord Leaders, and all the DLC add new units, Tomes and racial forms to the game, filling out the world with more enemy variety. Eldritch Realms is adding Eldritch Sovereign Leaders, a new map layer, Tomes, units, a new magic material, 2 new racial forms and an independent faction dwelling that can only be allied with or destroyed. So yeah, they make the worlds feel more fantastical and complete, not just fighting the same enemy types over and over, and each type has more variety, like the Fey or Dragons.
Lovely to see someone completely new to Dominions! I've seen livestreams of Dominions Experts play for literal hours but this kind of series is something new to chew on. And also nice to see someone play with the Sprite overhaul mod. And also, oof. Neutral Order and Cold 1 for Pangaea 😬
I’ve…recently taken a break. I only play ranked and with the new system it’s become difficult to climb. Also, sorry for the crap experience! That’s garbage! Take it easy, fellow console bro🤘😇
@@TheTrueMightyMage I can only dream. I'm not a tank player but man I miss having another tank. Good luck and oh! Subbed! Gotta support console creators. 🫡
Quick tips if you didnt know mr Mage, when you are in the Province Defense screen, you can jus use your numpad + n - to increase/decrease the defense! Also you can hold down the + or - to increase/decrease rapidly! OH AND also you can press Q to quick exit the autobattles, instead of pressing escape and pressing 'exit' in the menu, and lastly you can press ESC to quick exit any menu! :)
I jus got this game a few days ago, and I been playing as the Oni Kings faction Yomi, the Japanese mythology faction and its been fun, they have demons and undead, very fun combo! Im super addicted and its only my first time playing...
@@TheTrueMightyMage Im a big fan of undead so im excited to try all the different undead factions! Also enjoying your playthrough, seeing someone learn the same as me and learn things I havent learned is nice! Obviously in not caught up yet but enjoying it so far! :)
There are said to be break points for PD at 6, 11 and 21 in terms of both events and whether enemy will attack. Scouting does give an indication of PD strength when it says something like "well organised"
@@TheTrueMightyMage My understanding is that they are very precise ranges. EG "well organised" might be 11-20 PD (I don't know what the actual ranges are)
You don't need one character to do both building and searching. I'd pick the cheapest possible priest to go around building temples and nothing else unless they build a Fort instead or occasionally Preach.
Plays Pangea. Does not use a bless to buff the GLORIOUS WHITE CENTAURS into murdermachines.... REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Jokes aside - have fun mate ! is a great game. (try Rlyeh when you can )
It's worth investing some money in Province Defence. PD6 is 20gp which is practically free and enough to stop some bad events. 11 and 21 are the other key points I think.
If you arent as into Pangaea you might prefer Asphodel. They have some similar units but play in a very different way focused around the ability your god had in this game using death magic and creating silly amounts of free units.
Can you turn on showing the mouse cursor so we can see what you are pointing at when you say here? 😅 Other than that thanks for showing a game I would otherwise not have the time to get into and experience!
If there is one mod I would suggest every new player gets, its Nation Overview. The only thing it does, is that in the nation select before you begin a game you can also see any special summons, potenial heroes and freespawn the nation has available. Makes it alot easier to actually make a plan.
I remember dominion tried to get back into it last year it's a shame it's interface is so counter intuitive I completly forgot how it works so i just gave up
The issue is I am not a fan of either, so much like if some one asks me if I prefer Lost World or Forces, I will say I like Silver because the experience is over sooner.
While I personally have fun with Silver i can see where the problem lies for people. A game with him in it now should make his have all his abilities from Generations and be about fast platforming with his powers.
With what I have seen so far, I dont think I would enjoy a "Silver The Hedgehog" game, unless he got a new playstyle. It doesn't need to be fast, but it needs to be more interesting than pick up and throw
@@TheTrueMightyMage Just being able to platform while using his abilities to decimate enemies (Like Psychic Knife and Meteor Smash from Generations) should be enough I think. So long as it isn't about lots of stop and going.
Honestly they dumbed the ball puzzle down too much imo. The countdown doesn’t go on its own after hitting it and it starts moving on its own. As someone who figured out the physics and how to do it consistently in the original that bothers me.
@@TheTrueMightyMage I agree but I think they took it a tad too far here. Simply making the collision detection better and adding that ramp at the end would have been enough.
