Hey! I'm interested in purchasing this but have two questions: 1. Could you install it so that the high point of the roof is over the benches instead of the heater? 2. How would you go about moving this sauna? Is it easy to deconstruct and move as wood pieces or would you try to forklift it into a truck?
1. Yes that would be possible. 2. Moving a sauna this size is no easy task and I honestly wouldn't recommend it. With that being said we've done it before I can send you pictures by email. Send me a quick email at matheo@northernsaunas.com and I'll show you how we did it.
It doesn't come pre assembled, as it would be a lot more expensive to ship. So it is technically a DIY kit that we sell. Hi. Can you make another video about this sauna showing more angles and details for the benefits of the this sauna compared to barrel and other saunas. I've been researching saunas for about 4 months now and I just came across this sauna. Never seen it before.
If you have a pallet jack or even a car jack with wheels you could move it into space. You would need some kind of lever and a way to roll it. Perhaps something like 4 wheel trolley could work. Feel free to email us a photo of your space and we can discuss how to go about this. :)
I work for a handyman company in western North Carolina. We charged about $3500 to put it together. That’s taking into account 2 guys 2 full days of labor.
I am a licenced electrician and my sauna came with a manual 6kW heater. I am going to disconnect the timer and connect the heater to a smart, wifi thermostat with a wireless timer. Do you see any problem with it?
There are very little details on the Northern Sauna Web page or the auroom webpage regarding these products. On contacting the store it is hard to get relevant information. It makes the purchase of such a sauna very difficult.
That's why you need to consider the glass wall while choosing the heater. It's not a bad or poor design. It's up to choosing correct heater that is appropriate to your sauna design.
This is what getting out of your hot van and starting work on an English building site in winter feels like. But without someone controlling your income and treating you like a serf. But enough about me. lol ,nice garden shower.
I used to do 180F to 69F alternating 30, 20, 10 mins each for a total of 2 hours. Did that for roughly 4 months maybe 5. Was probably the best I’ve felt in 15 years. Ide do vacuums in the pool at cold temps. Helped tighten the bloated belly.
