Black Tie and 1.Outside are not LP replicas though as the original vinyl versions were both single discs with truncated track listings edited down to about 45 minutes. Plus Buddha uses the American artwork created for when the label got around to releasing it in that territory about five years after it was released in the, western Europe and (randomly) Brazil.
I think Made in Heaven is my least favorite. Too long for my liking, and I prefer the title track and I Was Born to Love You from Freddie's Mr. Bad Guy album. Winter's Tale and Mother Love are mainly the only tunes I enjoyed from it. Cool Cat is an underrated track imo. Like the chill/groove of it. Their 70s run from s/t until The Game was tight, the band did not miss.
I wish they re-cut I&W for 2LPs, stuffing that much music onto each side I think will make the music suffer. I also don't remember being very happy with the MOV/ETR mid 2010s releases in terms of sound quality, maybe time for a revisit. Huge DT fan otherwise so I bought this set since I don't have all their albums on vinyl.
Question - Where’s Mike. Seen him In some of your videos and haven’t seen him posting like in forever. I subscribe to his channel but he hasn’t posted in a long while.
At a surface level for most and in general this is correct. There are definitely more restrained tame songs throughout their discography that most overlook. I hope their next album will be a bit more restrained in that regard. Especially Jordan lol.
Yes the color of the luxrul is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc ...
Sorry , but these reissues are not up to much . Not impressed with the sound at all . UK 1st pressings really do blow them out of the water . Never had an RL Led Zeppelin 2 .
Happy belated Birthday to you! What a great haul!! XTC were fantastic...i absolutely love The Mayor Of Simpleton. English Settlement is my very favorite album of theirs. What a fun way to spend your birthday! Take good care. -Sam

Your collection is so impressive. What is even more impressive is how do you afford to buy all of those! Lol...I have 12 live Bootleg Vinyl albums out of the 60 vinyl albums i own and they were so expensive. I have number 111 of 350 of the Wicked Lester Spring Sessions 1972 vinyl. I'm so envious of your collection
