Hello, the DYN5 drive including the EtherCAT option is in stock and available for purchase. Please contact us directly at sales@dmm-tech.com and our sales staff can send a quote.
What is the purpose of connecting with bluetooth? Is the servo actually run doing work using bluetooth? Or is the bluetooth just used for testing the servo?
Hello, for a Bridgeport mill, we usually recommend using a 750W or 1.0kW motor direct drive on 5mm or 10mm pitch ball screws. Please contact our engineering team at info@dmm-tech.com and they can assist you directly.
If anyone has issues with the links not opening up. Copy and paste them inside of microsoft edge. Thats what I had to do to get them to work.Great video
Hi James! Question on circuit breaker. If I'm using in 4 axis set up with DYN4 AC servo motors, what size circuit breaker do I use 80a or should I use the 60a listed in the 3 axis wire diagram? Thanks for the excellent support and product!
I have tried to contact you guys multiple times via phone over the last 2 years. No one ever answered the phone and my call was never returned. I went with another product.
I am building a robotic fabric shaver and I have a series of cleaning heads on there and they all spin and rotate in different degrees of spin movements across three axes as well. Is it possible to het 600 hZ movement back and forth of the cleaning heads? This is minimum what I need? I can pay you to help me if you think you can? Thanks and god bless
Thank you for your video, I have a question to ask before buying the equipment, is it possible to control manually with 2 PWM, one for the motor speed and the other PWM for the time between motor ON / OFF (High / Low) of course without completely stopping the machine.
Hello, thank you for your comment. This demo was intended to be very simple so we just wait/assume until the motion is finished. The servo drive has a Drive_Status byte with 2 bits that you can query/monitor to see if the positioning is completed. Thank you!!
So what setting would cause your drive to keep pumping power into the breaking resistor without a motor connected to it? We've been trying to resolve this issue for about 6 months and our engineer has been having significant problems getting support.
Please correct the Enable wiring in the DYN2 diagram ! The Acorn grounds the output while the DYN2 requires a 5V supply. This direct wiring does not work.
Hi, i'm very surprised that the DYN2 manual specifies 0.8mm² wire for power input and output, that's 4-5A rating for a 16A-20A peak input driver. What am I missing ?
UC100, UC 400 and ESS cannot cut threads in lathe mode. They do not have real time feedback to maintain the relationship between spindle rpm and carriage feedrate.
