Caught the replay, so sorry I missed the livestream, fell asleep. 😞 Enjoyed the walk and thank you for the shout out! Praying for you, bro and hugggzzzzz
@TokyoDrew I seem to have the same issue with exchanging USD and Yen, always needing to do it at the opposite to profitable time. That’s how shops make money though. (*Bankrupt now issue is mute, nothing to exchange, but it was that way. )
I haven't been getting notifications from your channel for some reason. Something very good for killing cancer, and is readily available in Japan is squid ink. Foods made with squid ink.
Hey Drew, I have a lot of catching up to do...I've been on the go since the day you left for Vegas. I'm somewhere in europe now and the timezone thing is not helping. Hope to catch a live stream sometime soon.
Definitely have changed my preference for places to live. Loved Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo when I was in Japan but now, would want to live in the countryside, at least part time. Nevertheless, live these walk arounds, great to see you man. God Bless
I just noticed this video. I have to say, it is one of the better videos representing Kichijoji. I've been live now in Kichijoji for over 45 years. Your video is over 2 years old, so many shops have changed. One reason so many places were closed in Harmonica Yokocho is that they only open at night. It's mainly a night area. Also, you mentioned the "shrine" on Sun Road. It is actually a Buddhist temple. Shrines are Shinto, different religion. Easy way to tell is that temples have cemeteries, like this one. Shrines never have cemeteries. Your pronunciation was pretty much OK, only a few errors, no biggie. You failed to mention that Kichijoji has been voted the best place to live in Tokyo for many years in a row, and I agree. On the whole, I'd give you an 8 out of 10, good job.
Gosh I couldn't stay awake til 3 am Hungarian time to join the live stream. 😭 But I enjoyed the replay. I saw Shinichi first with Tabi Eats when they tried Hungarian food. Off topic, but since I hadn't been on Patreon for a while (due to personal life reason) I lost my Discord connection. But I'm back now on Patreon. Could one of the admins or someone send me an invite? Thank you. ❤
@@TokyodrewIt's ok, Drew, I know the big time difference is something we can't do much about. Just take it easy, no rush with Discord, I just noticed I can't connect. Relax, you had a long day and it's late in Tokyo. 😊
