Why would he put his head and hands in a closet that's just messed up? At first, he said he parked his car to relax, and then his car accidentally slipped down somehow, even though I highly believe he intentionally drove the car to the river because it looks like a river to me. But the fact that he hid the head and hands in a closet is the stupidest thing; he could have just buried it somewhere in order to avoid all of this.
