Those tracks are for the boats. I used to spend some of my summers at the estate in the 40's and 50's. The boats sit on custom dollies and are winched in and out of the boat house.
Beautiful. Gorge entering into the ocean. Was this on the Oregon coast? If yes, I have been there around 1989. I am not sure, as my angle was different. I feel, I was on the other side of it.
Was the Submarine voyage drained and being worked on during the day ? That’s interesting. I would think they would have put up hoarding to hide the area they were working on so not to spoil the Disney magic. I’ve never seen that before, where they haven’t done that.
