We love to travel and explore new places, and hope you enjoy our videos of our little adventures.
We found watching cruise videos really helpful before deciding what ship and destination to book, so hopefully some of our videos might be useful for anyone thinking about booking a cruise.
We’ve had 3 fabulous cruises on Britannia and another booked for next year. She’s a great ship, the new carpets look great. The Fjords are so beautiful. Looks like you had a great time.
What an amazing vlog ☺️ thank you so much for sharing, it’s really helpful for my first cruise next year. We’re also doing Norwegian Fjords on the Britannia. We’ll definitely be booking the Loen excursion you guys did with the other company … can I ask how long the coach journey was and how much walking was involved? Thanks loves and happy belated 30th! 🩷
Have really enjoyed watching your vlogs. Britannia is one of P&O ships we have not been on yet. You are both lovely to watch and are full of brilliant information. X
Hi James & George. My new fav people. We've done 12 cruises now, but this is the only ship we've not been on. What's your thoughts ? Looking forward to you going on Arvia. Iona, Arvia and Britannia are my favs. Brilliant Vlogs. Thank you.
Wow that must have been fantastic, we'd love to try a world cruise at some point! Congratulations on your engagement, what a great way to celebrate by being on a cruise 🚢
Thanks for this video - I will be taking a World Cruise on Arcadia departing Jan 2025. I have one question, what time do you actually disembark? The itinerary says 6 AM arrival, but I'd like a better idea when I can schedule transportation. Cheers :-)
How fantastic - we hope you have an amazing time!! We disembarked at around 7.30am but we chose 'self help' disembarkation which is where you take your bags off yourself. If you'd prefer to have your cases taken and then pick them up from the cruise terminal, you'll be given an allocated time to disembark. This is usually between 8am-10.30am 😁
I'm also going on the world cruise in January for the first 50 days. I found this video quite useful as it's given me a heads up on where things are on the ship. Thanks
Aw we're glad you love our vlogs and they make you laugh 😁 haha we promise we don't drink that much, although the vlog does make it look like we've constantly got a bev in our hands 😂💙
Thank you, we had such a fun time! The short cruises are great, but I know she goes to some incredible places around the world that we'd also love to explore 😍🚢
Thank you! 😊 We couldn't find too many arcadia vlog before we went, so hopefully this can give people a bit of an insight into what the ship is like. Wed definitely recommend Arcadia, she's very different from other P&O ships, but still great! 🚢
Hello fellow Seafarers! I think I was on the same cruise as yourselves…from Monday 27th November to Friday December 1st! It was incredibly cold in Amsterdam and I (I had a hired mobility scooter for my cruise) got so cold that I returned to the ship and warmed up in one of the hot tubs! I was with a group of other disabled cruisers and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I entirely endorse your comments on the staff…they were absolutely wonderful. One of the Medina restaurant staff members…Alberto…even found me a place to park my buggy and helped me with getting my food every time I attended the buffet. It was my first ever cruise…my previous sea experience was with ‘Grey Funnel Cruises’ (Royal Navy)….a somewhat different experience. My cabin…especially adapted for the disabled…was very comfortable but I didn’t have a balcony. I enjoyed swimming in the top deck pool and the staff were so helpful as I had to be careful getting in and out of the pool. It’s a wonderful ship and I’d like to travel on her again. Only one incident proved a problem..and that was when there was a major blockage with my cabin’s waste disposal system (other cabins were affected too) and the enclosed bathroom was flooded out…but it was soon sorted and everything was ship shale again! I lost my wife last August and this was my first trip without her. She wasn’t keen on the idea of cruising but after my experience, I’m sure she would have enjoyed it! I’m now looking forward to a week long trip to Norway in late June/July on the Britannia. Perhaps you’ll be in that trip? Thanks for your excellent video recording…I liked your technique and (as someone who used to work in broadcasting) I was quite impressed by your presentation and ‘fresh’ approach. Best wishes to you both from the passenger who was in Cabin E177! Rob in Bournemouth.
Excellent video, really like the way you take your video shots, very slow and smooth so that you can really see the subject. The ship looks amazing and you had a lovely cabin. How lovely that it snowed that night, perfect for a festive cruise.
We hope you enjoy part 1 of our P&O cruise around Northern Europe! Make sure to watch our part 2 😁 Who else has been on, or is planning to go on Iona? 🚢⚓🌊
We watched this last night. Loved it. Still didn't spot ourselves!!! Looks like you had fun in Rotterdam, but shame the views were not great up the Euromast. We loved the market too, we could have spent a lot longer there. We agree that Bruges is somewhere we want to go back to for longer. Glad you boogied at 'Ssh' - we didn't think it was the greatest evening. Cheers both 🍻
