Thank you for the feedback! What comes to mind based on your description is the Filter tool. Click on the Data Tab, and then look in the Sort & Filter group. You will want select your column and the click on the Filter tool. That will add a drop down menu with sort options. Access Tables have a similar tool as a standard operation. I hope this helps with your question.
