Hi sue. I have the 1055x machine too. I see you use a 8x9 mighty hoop I tried to use the same one but it keeps saying to use a larger hoop. I could see that the design will fit and I always check the side with the machine. I know that this a different product that brother uses. Have you had this problem?
I have not had this happen but I did with a different Mighty Hoop and found that if I moved the frame just a little making sure the hoop still fit, the machine accepted it.
Also, make sure all three screws on the frame are tightened. That enables the machine to read the frame size. You likely already do that but I've had a screw get loose and not realize it right away.
Thank you so much! I just purchased this machine, and this video helped save a mistake! I have subscribed to your channel, and I look forward to watching your other videos! 😊
I have not done that yet. It would depend on if there are clear borders of some sort around the sticker. Scan it in and see what shows up as the cutting lines.
@@CreationsbySue I haven’t bought the cutter yet as I’m doing my research on one to find if it will do what I’m wanting. Cutting without the white border around its is one of my hopes. Thanks.
Have you got any advice to make the magnetic hoop sync to the machine. When I load the hoop and a design on screen is central, the hoop is not centred. X
I'm so thankful to know this and appreciate you letting me know. Had hoped the camera function would work with that hoop. Will demo using that soon with a factory hoop. You're welcome.
I'm very new to multi-thread embroidery and am trying so hard to learn how to accomplish tasks that I'm used to doing on my Stellaire. Thanks so much for this and all your other videos. I'm learning a lot from you!
I'm so thankful, Sandra. This is very encouraging to me. Congratulations on your new machine. It definitely is a learning curve but so nice to have the capabilities of a multi needle.
i just discovered you and i have watched 3 videos and learned something i didnt know about my machine and ive had it almost 2 yrs.. please keep them coming
Thank you so much for this video. It helped clarify where to find the stop screen and how to put them into the correct step while making my bag tags. I have subscribed and will be watching your channel as I try to learn to use my new machine!
Hi sue im new to machine embroidery i have the brother pr1055x and i have purchased a couple of appliqué off etsy but im finding the design docent stop to take the hoop out at the end of each bit they are telling me they haven't had any issues do i have to set the machine up to do it or should it do it automatically thank you if you can help me karen xx
Welcome to the world of embroidery! You have an excellent machine for embroidery. You do have to set the stops yourself. I am hoping to do a video on that later today actually. There are two ways to set stops and I will explain both in that video. The little hand button is the stop button and you can press it when in the step of a design and it will stop the machine before it moves to the next step but you have to do that in each step. There is another way to set stops ahead of time and I will show that and the stopping at each step in the video. Happy stitching!
You are welcome. Thank you for letting me know that you make your first knockdown stitch and it turned out great. I love to hear that the video helped you. Congratulations on this accomplishment!
Ty. I’m trying to find a video on a couple of things - I currently have each of my threads anchored but my machine keeps changing one of them to match what is on spool 10 (I know this one can’t be anchored). It also wants to stop after each color and I do t have stops added. A friend has the same issue with the stops and we’ve not found a video yet on how to prevent this. We have to hit start after every color. But I also need to figure out how to get mine to stop changing the color on me.
Do you have the little hand sign up for each of the colors? This would cause the machine to stop for each color. Not sure why the color is not anchoring for you once you set it.
This is the a redline 15 needle and they cost around $9,000. Mine is a 5th generation so was a little less than that but those are sold out. See more info here: www.redline1501.com/redlinepro1501.html
