OMG Meals? Canned soups, stews, chili,??? all quick and easy. Warm the insides! Variety, tasty, keep a happy crew! Love you two! Safe journey. Old Cap'n John, 86 and still sailing!
Falcons eh. Better known as Turkey Vultures. Just waiting for someone to drown in the quarry lake. BTW. Texada Island is one of my favorite stop overs heading North and South.
Enjoyed your channel! Just Subscribed.I’m trying to convince my wife that a circumnavigation is a great retirement project and went so far as to even start a little channel (@NavalGazingatCampDavid) to sell her on the life style….desperate times and all that. Lol. Thanks again for the great content. I have a whoooole new appreciation for the time and care it takes to create these episodes!
Just popped in to tell you I saw a guy in our sail fleet wearing one of your t-shirts and had a moment with him "I know who they are!" Hope the two of you are well. If you are ever down in Puget Sound btwn March-late September, hit up the Oak Harbor YC sail fleet on Thursday night for some keel boat racing. 😉 I know at least two boats who would love to have you aboard.
One of these days I wanna see a couple like this get ship wreaked in the middle of the ocean. It be like a real life horror story of a loving couple trying to survive but slowly getting on each others nerves till one kills and eats the other. Years later someone f discovers the degraded raft and finds their phones and it has a bunch of unuploaded tiktok clips documenting their decent into madness. Ya I kinda went to a dark place there but it still would be cool.
You're in fucking Mexico what do you expect you don't like the dry and the heat go sailing up north to Oregon Washington whatever man you should just thank God for where you're at and what you're doing
Running an AC it will act as a dehumidifier and getting those silica moisture retaining sachets will capture most of it or the other option is running a heater inside?
Why don't you just sail to a warmer climate during the winter? Boats are not built with insulation and a vapor barrier like a house. Cold air will always leak in while a heater or dehumidifier needs a constant source of energy. Is that why you live in a boat in the first place? So that you can always move to live a temperate or warm climate.
Now you should watch some RU-vid videos on liferaft's to get a better understanding about liferaft's and how they can save your life in the open waters. Because if something was to happen to your Boat in open waters it's then to late to try find how liferaft and it's contents can save you
It's kind of scary the you live on a boat and have no idea of how your life raft works, what's inside of it. Or that it's so far pass it's inspection date. But deploying and going through it was a very good thing for you to do. Because now you SOME IDEA !how to deploy it and what to expect to find inside of your liferaft.
