I hate that Christopher left but maybe this will give Eddie the opening he's been needing for a long time to really work on his struggles with his past. The next season will hopefully give Eddie some closer and peace that he's been needing to move forward in his life.
Thank God they didn't get Eddie and Marisol back together by the end of this episode. Seeing the clearly aromantic 🚫🌹 Eddie living a lie by going through the motions and the woman getting their hopes 🤞 up it will turn into a loving relationship in vain *again* would have been extremely painful to watch. I hope Eddie never gets in a serious relationship with a non-friend (aromantic people can form healthy relationships using their friendship 🤝 to connect with their lovers instead, since they do feel that connection), as it will be *so* awkward and painful to watch. It kind of feels Eddie just let Marisol go without even trying to explain. Which is pretty in character and funny.
I feel there was a lot of plot the writers wanted to get through this season, but because of the strikes they had half the number of episodes to make it all happen to set up next season.
I feel like Eddie is gonna leave, when he’s at work his mind is gonna be all over the place so he’s gonna leave to focus on himself and get help so he can get Chris back 😢
Christopher came home from the movies with Eddie's girlfriend Marisol only to find his father in the arms of a woman who looks identical to Chris's mother Shannon, and who was actually role-playing being Shannon with Eddie. So he's understandably angry at his father. It's been rough for Chris throughout the series, because Eddie has girlfriends but they never last. Now he's literally trying to replace Chris's mother? That was a step too far.
@@dcle944 - That's difficult to predict with adult actors and even more so with children. Gavin McHugh (who plays Christopher) may have actual kid stuff like school as IRL he is only about a year older than Chris. It's not like Glee where all the kids were played by young-looking adults.
Aw crap! Captain Butthole of everything awful is back to ruin the safety and stability of everyone they save from now on, and the safety and stability that they had once he left
Yes, but at least he got to express his concerns about this to Eddie after Kim came to the firehouse. Chris got totally blindsided coming home to find his dad in the arms of a fake Shannon.
@@daniels7907 Buck never expressed he was sad Eddie was hiding things from him. He only expressed his concerns about what Eddie was doing with Kim. Nothing about the secrecy with Buck himself. The 2 are terrible at being honest with each other.
@@UniDocs_Mahapushpa_Cyavana - Skip back a bit to the moment where Buck was briefly relieved when he thought that Chris and Marisol had met Kim based on the way Eddie recounted the story. But then he was let down when Eddie confirmed that they had *not* met, nor knew about, Kim.
@@daniels7907 That has nothing to do with Eddie and Buck's relationship. Buck clearly likes them sharing their lives with each other. Secrecy is antithetical to that.
Eddie just needs to accept himself as aromantic 🚫🌹. Eddie never cared about his partners as people or companions 🤝. Kim would be the perfect replacement for Shannon, because being a pretty for the pretty picture of a "perfect" family is all he ever wanted from her. I don't think Eddie can even describe Shannon's personality, as he never paid attention to it. The ironic thing is if Eddie realises it, he would realise he is aromantic and thus not want Kim. Also, I really hope they give Eddie a plotline other than struggling to accept himself as aromantic, because it has been *6* seasons of this and it is starting to get a bit stale.
Watching this episode again I’m realizing something major. When the social worker took her blanket, she did not cry. Because she was still holding on tight to Karen. Now when he actually pulled her away, that’s when she started screaming. Karen has become her new security blanket! and they’re really breaking that up. This council lady can go to hell.
As much as I hate how bad it pushed Chris away I’m glad Eddie is facing the consequences of his actions… side note I love the bond between these two boys so much
The 126 handled this all wrong. The chaperones should have only been Carlos and TK, coached in advance to make it clear that they are a cop and a paramedic and to NOT show any enthusiasm for any guy. No woman that is safe to mess with brings those on a date.
Eddie please for the love of GOD, go to therapy. You're gunna lose everything if you keep doing this shit. Also...they are literally Co-parenting this boy. Open your eyes guys.
Ortiz probably gave a condensed story to the people in charge of the hearing. The report of the cheerleaders would've mentioned that the surviving girl asked for her friend, but the 118 assumed she was telling them her own name.
Her son was belligerent and refused care, not to mention his tox report stated he was under the influence and positive for meth and something else if I remember correctly Plus Hen was cleared by the LAFD of any wrong going in both the ambulance and this guys death - the light thing was faulty giving everyone greens 😊
