So this loss hits incredibly hard but I do want to emphasize that I think this is one of two outcomes that rhaenys wanted, she loves dragons, truly, and hates when they fight, so when she could have fled to dragonstone she opted on a huge gamble, go back and try to win, if she somehow succeeded, war COMPLETELY over, GG no re, or if she fails, she doesn't have to see any more dragons suffer, and her old war horse can rest, she went out in an insane last ditch effort to stop the bloodshed of dragons and family, she failed, but now she does not need to take part in a spiralling war of mass death of dragons and family. It doesn't lessen the loss, but it does help to ascribe a motive and a truly noble goal, she was a legend, and I'm sorry she's gone but this is how dragonriders want to die, they have a similar internal drive as Klingons from star trek just much less single mindedly violent
the first half is still outstanding, but later the writers changes made the show abysmal, as George eloquently put in his blog about the changes “None of that is essential, I suppose… but all of it does serve a purpose, it all helps to tie the story lines together, so one thing follows another in a logical and convincing manner.”
The showrunners have again ruined this franchise for some bizarre reason they keep going for this fanfiction romance between rhaenyra and alicent, which is basically ruining their characters
Hii, loved your reaction as always. You should check out "my lady jane". It's a great series and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one.
I couldn't watch that first episode 💔 I have a little boy about the same age and I just couldn't do it to myself. I did try to skip ahead of that part on someone's reaction and heard jahearys cry out and that was enough to give me nightmares about my little so glad I skipped it tbh
Lets all take a moment to remember that it wasn't the writers/creators fault for how the season ended. It was HBO. We were supposed to get two more episodes, and they couldn't rewrite things due to the strikes. I absolutely loved this season! Wish we got the real finale, but at least we've got plenty of action coming next season.
@@caste.chronicles Gotta have higher standers lol........not like they are creating a NEW show....they have everything they need and still fail. It's pathetic and sad
They are probably comparing it to the books and accuracy to it. For me it's not comparable to GoT season 8. This season was awesome, and I can't wait for season3. @caste.chronicles
It is worth pointing out that the WGA writer’s strike meant that the showrunners couldn’t polish up this season’s scripts. That, plus the fact that they had to cut two episodes, led to a somewhat stagnant season. The same thing happened to this last season of The Boys. But I think this season really highlited Aegon as my favorite character. He’s a scumbag but he’s so exquisitely layered. If Aemond’s ethos is avenging his slights as a kid, Aegon’s ethos is trying to recieve love from the people since neither his mother nor his father showed him any love.
Btw in reality they wouldnt have to kill her to get the samples. There are different ways, some more and some less invasive but this one is just stupid. The great surgeon they had, had to be a fcking amateur. And honestly I wont watch the second Season if they take most of the second games' story. Just felt like a fanfiction of someone who hates the characters.
The beginning of this movie destroys me every time. The rest of the movie is great too but that oepning sequence is just some of most emotional, touching, and also devastatingly REAL bits sequences ever in a movie. Its a MASTERPIECE and I seriously think anyone who can watch that without getting at least a little misty eyed is some kind of psychopath.
I saw this at the cinema when it came out. I was blown away, and when it was available for streaming, my girlfriend and I watched it again. Even when you know the story, it is a fascinating story.
Literally every single person in this movie is NOT a hero, hell, the guy Steve Carell played @steveesimen celebrated the death of children... despite what was shown in the movie, these people are no better than the people that created the mess we had to go through. Typical of Hollywood to take human suffering and twist it into a "feel good" movie.
You can say what you want about RIOT Games as a company, or League of Legends as a community, but one thing that these people never miss on is telling phenomenal stories. Whether it's the cinematics or the comics or now the show, this was everything lore fanatics wanted and more.
