Just an aging midwest dad trying to enjoy life to the fullest! Parenting, Mountain Bikes, Coffee, Geocaching, Food, Traveling. Carnival Cruise - Aholic!
Not too crazy...if I looked at everything before I rode every part I could ride each part. But it's also way out there too so don't want to risk any sort of fall.
Howdy Mark! Looks like fun family day tour to Tangier. I'm heading to Port of Gibraltar for second time on board Sun Princess, and planning to do the crossing to Tangier from Tarifa. I was in port Gibraltar in May 2022 on board the Carnival Pride and already hiked up/down the Rock. I need to find a way to get to Tarifa and how long for the ferry ride. We're only there 7AM to 5PM. I'll have my passport so I can meet the Sun Princess in Cartagena Spain, if needed. This will be my number 62 overall cruise and 61-UN Country to visit if all goes well. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
We went for the day. Got up early to get to Tarifa port and then sat there for an hour or so. Got back to Tangier port at around 5pm but the boat was delayed an hour or so...so we got back to Tarifa around 7:30pm. Can't recall the cost, wasn't too expensive, like 80 Euros round trip?
Omg! Small world of geocaching. I am researching for a cruise and almost fell out of my chair when I heard geocaching. Do you have the GC code? Greetings from Texas!
In Bonaire there are two near the port and an Adventure Lab. GC9JV48 and GC4TPCA. The adventure lab didn't have a final when we were there but we're going back in November so I'll do that one too!
Hi, enjoyed your video! I'm planning to visit with my 11 and 15-year-old kids soon. Would you recommend it for us? Any advice you could offer? Thank you.
@@MarkLarson Hey, thanks a bunch for getting back to me! So, we actually already hit up Caminito del Rey(27/02/24), and it was a blast! My daughter had a blast, but my nephew? Well, let's just say he was a tad spooked! 😄 Still, it was such an incredible experience.
We are going to this port in a few months thanks for sharing it showd how easy it will be to just explore. We are using Norwegian but thinking of using Carnival for Mexico. We like watching for tips for our vlog and supporting other channels. Looks like your family had a blast especially in the waves!! Best wishes safe travels and hopefully we see you Just Ramblin Around!!
Great job on the video! I was on the Celebration last year and never got up early enough to watch the sunrise. After seeing your sunrise shots, I will definitely do that on my upcoming cruise on the Celebration!
It is a great tshirt and a great coffee cup! Last one...might do a Celebration Review video, see if I can get more views by being a bit more click-baity. It'll have substance...just be like a "5 things" or something.
Hi great video! Thanks for sharing. Do you mind telling me if you used a tour company for this adventure? We want to do it in May but everything else I’m seeing is not appealing. Thanks! Carmen
Sorry for the delay. www.abtravels.com/ is the tour company. If you send them an email they create a proposal with all the info and it's very detailed with times and itinerary. Camel ride was 15 euros per person add-on. We had to book the ferry ride separately but the guide also told us the exact ferry tickets to buy. It was very smooth.
Thank you for this video. I found it very informative and on my next trip to Spain, I fully intend to take advantage of the info you gave in the video and include some of these sights in my itinerary. Just as an aside, at 0:56 you showed a point of land that you described as the most southern point in Spain. In fact, it is the most southern point on mainland Europe. That land is maintained by the Spanish military (and is closed to the public) and used to be an island but was connected to the mainland by a causeway a couple of hundred yards long. When you walk from Tarifa across the causeway, the Atlantic Ocean is to your right and the Mediterranean Sea is to your left. The mountains of Morocco are visible a few kilometers away across the Straight of Gibraltar.
What a wonderful way to spend your birthday! We just went to San Juan this past week and it was so hot - didn't do all the much... you looked like you had such a fun filled day! Great video!
Oooh awesome! I absolutely loved the ship! And the sports bar is big enough that you might actually be able to watch the Super Bowl if you wanted! Have a great time!
Yes, would definitely love to know how you booked your tour guide. Also, how you found such a great camel ride? I feel like most of these are only by the roadside and don't do that long of a ride. This one on the beach looks so perfect!
