The full speedruns of this game clear this chunk in about 2:45. That's terrifying, IMO. I believe man was only meant to clear Secret Agent Barbie at a moderate pace -- perhaps akin to a light jog. I shall go no further at this time.
The letter carrier is random, but is chosen when you first start the level. This means if you make a hard save the moment the level starts, you can then load it from the main menu for a fresh-ish start while being sure of their location. This is also why you don't see me skipping the intro cutscenes; I did that "off-screen". For a run I won't be submitting to any leaderboards, I figured it was an alright enough compromise over just restarting repeatedly.
Light Side Agent, yeah. It doesn't affect any of these scenes, since they take place before it happens, but she does indeed agree to be a double agent for the SIS. (I wanted a saboteur character for Onslaught-onwards.)
@@WailingBardI think it would cool to see you play as a Dark Side Female Human Trooper with the Vanguard Combat Style who can also become a Saboteur for Onslaught and beyond. She should wear the Mantellian Separatist Armor Set from the Cartel Market/GTN while using the Blood Red Color Crystal from the Cartel Market/GTN for her blaster. She should also romance Aric Jorgan.
Dude this is sick! I've played the full agent story like 5+ times and had no clue about the computer with the files. That's where you confront the old guy, who worked with jadus, on Nar Shadda? Anyway thanks for posting this
No problem. Yeah, it's after you go to fetch Yvord for Zhorrid: once you've dealt with him, his terminal becomes interactable. It's pretty easy to miss, but spot it and you'll get some extra hints about Jadus.
Essentially the game cheats in our favour. There are a few points in this level where you pass points-of-no-return: once we jump off the train McCoy can't get back up. Rather than have his bag be lost for the rest of the level, the devs just set it to automatically return.
@@WailingBard Oh my god, ahahaha. They should've unironically made his bag boomerang back at him if he left it someplace behind in the rest of the missions, too.
I saw your video and tried it. It is a technique so difficult that it succeeds only once out of 10 times. But it is possible as of February 11, 2024 hahaha
