I was on the fence of how this bike would perform in New England woods but I’m pretty sold on it after seeing this video. Does it struggle on big hills or in loose/slick conditions?
The bike is awesome in the woods. No struggles at all on climbs in fact I prefer it over my previous gas bikes because of the forever-torque of the electric motor, plus you’re always in the right gear! In loose mud & roots you can control the power through throttle modulation and power maps on the bike (eco, trail & sport modes). It’s a great series and hope that others like yourself get out there in 2024 and give it a roost! 🤙🏽⚡️🏁🏆
@@KNOBBYtv what series is this? I know netra does some sprint enduros but it’s juniors only I think. Do you think the ultra battery could make it thru a netra harescramble?
@@itsonlyjeff it’s the Future Aces Series that features an electric class. Our average range/run time at race pace with the stock Ultra battery has been right around an hour and ten minutes run time or 16-18 total miles.
@@itsonlyjeff I think the NETRA hare scrambles are close to two hours so I don’t think a stock battery would last. There is the P27 series and the motos are 60 minutes as well as J Day (2 30-minute motos) that the stock battery could make.
I’ve definitely seen other tires with more aggressive studs on them, I would say these give you a fairly consistent 60-70% traction on ice. I’m sure studding the side knobs would help too! Enjoy and thanks for watching!!!
Here a com for ref and to thank you again, I'm in love with my seat now, I made the first with fiber glass base, was nice, swaped the battery for a bigger one so made a new seat who looks even better now.
This is awesome. I made a pit bike seat mod for my Rocky Mountain RMX, using two heavy duty industrial tube clamps and two aluminum L profiles to mount the seat to the seat post.
not on a national level but local using electric dirt bikes is the future we need........imagine you could build a track in a farmers field he isnt using anymore near some homes and there would be close to zero noise......i bet more farms would say yes to letting clubs build tracks......just need the waiver so the farm cannot be sued
I traced the holes from the original fender onto the new fender. Since these forks don’t have the traditional cross brace you don’t need to split and raise it up, you can keep it in one piece which is nice.
Yes you need to trim it to fit along the sides to connect it to the frame with zip ties and along the top so that it can bolt to the frame underneath the seat.
Awesome video. Thanks for the tip on using a YZ85 seat - just ordered mine from Amazon. Even if I mess it up for the price you can’t go wrong. I like the fact that there are countless seat covers for them as well.
@@highlineR32 looks like it’s currently unavailable (in Canada anyway). My install turned out better than in this video. I don’t have any straps that go over the seat. I utilized the factory seat hook at the front and left part of the tabs at the back and fastened through them and the Surron frame with a long rod and a pin. It doesn’t move around at all. The seat foam leaves a lot to be desired though. It squishes flat quickly while riding. I’m planning on replacing the foam with a complete new piece(s).
Yes they are all stock as far as battery and speed controller go. Some have taller bars, different seats, better pegs, different tires and gearing but it’s amazing at how even they are when riding together. It keeps the action tight and fun! Thanks for watching. 🤙🏽⚡️🏁🏆

@@momchilmomchev9012 two are on the stock 48 tooth, one on a 56 and I’m on a 58. You can see where they have their strengths either on uphill or straight aways.
Is it a ktm 85 or 65 cuz I looked it up it doesn’t look like a 65 front fender and it don’t look like it will fit but then the 85 sx looks like a it will fit and I don’t want a front number plate eathier

I sold my YZ250FX last year and bought the Sur-Ron. I’ve put SO MANY more hours on the Sur-Ron being able to ride it locally and in my yard. Love the gas bikes but electric moto stealth wins. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! The number plate and front fender interlock together as a set but you can still use them separately. Search up KTM 65SX front fender or number plate and you’ll find original OEM or aftermarket from Acerbis. I went with the Acerbis.

Just tryed mine out today, works like a charm ^^ , but I couldn't find a complete seat, I just got the foam, 3 straps and it holds good. Need to work on a fiberglass base now. Thanks for the tip
i upgraded to the float seat .....its way more comfortable than the stock 1....and it raises u up a bit 2....but that extra up-front....would allow for better handling 4 sho....i also have the full belt kit....its quiet az fuk....so far so good at 1300 miles....i also installed 2 waterproof marine switches ...1 to turn the light off....1 to switch from limited to full power
