Sorry that it didn't work out for you. I am delighted with mine. I can't imagine a case where I would need to open a can where I wouldn't have quick access to a regular can opener. I would never use the knife with other tools sticking out. I find it very convenient that I can lift another tool to unlock the knife instead of needing to open the pliers part way to reach the release. I carry it with a couple of screwdriver bits so the bit holder is a great feature. My pliers do meet at the tip. It seems like people either love it or hate it.
I've been thinking of getting one for some time. My dealer has the brown micarta version. I ended up buying a Tranquil in tan G10 and black 14C28N. I really love that knife. It's about the same size as the Sinisys. I see the Tranquil as the liner lock version of the Sinisys. Maybe you should check that one out also. First time I carried it, I had the same experience you had. It disappeared in my pocket so much so that I found myself feeling for it a few times. 🙂
These may have potential, but nothing like GEc. The prices are also too much.. Plus ease up on the Marijuana theme.. It just not a great smelling pointer over your wide range for market. Yeah some people like weed, but not a great sling point for "GREAT KNIVES" in general... Maybe short term memory lost have affected y'alls fit & finish... Or y'all wanting GEC PRICES the same for copper bud cutters😮.. Hope y'all turn it around quick, or y'all be like another one like QUEEN... Absolutely gorgeous! I was sold on it as soon as I first heard about it, and immediately did a preorder for it. Got mine very quickly after they dropped, and wasn’t disappointed. Excellent fit/finish, as I’ve come to expect from RCB (hey guys at WR Case, better be looking over your shoulder). My only nitpick was that there was a couple of “splotches” in the dye on the bone handles, but nothing major that would make me want to return it. I agree with you - another winner for RCB!
I use an A. G. Russell Hunters Scalpel that size at times. The sheath design is a really much easier to use and smaller and lighter in weight and size. You might look at one if you like small neck knives.👍
Your high resolution camara & lighting really brings out the sheer beauty of these knives. I happen to know the fella that sold these knives, and many other fine & ultra-rare GEC's to Keith.........you gotta watch that guy.........lol.
Great video. Absolutely AMAZING KNIVES!!! You mentioned the little wharncliffe blade as a secondary. The only one that comes to mind if the 82 dixie stockman. It has the muskrat clip, small & similar wharnie, and a drop point.
What do you mean by natural? Just curious. There was a richlite/micarta variant that was a bladehq exclusive. It sold out in about an hour though. It’s a beautiful one.

I have the smooth blade version of this in the UK. I too found it in a random shop in around 2000-2001. Only £20 😮 I wish I’d bought a few 😢 I can ‘Flick’ it better than almost any other though. Hold it very tightly through the blade hole, and flick your hand down. Clicks open reliably perfectly 😀 I’d never try to put it in a wallet! It’s just a fantastic knife that you can drop into your jeans pocket with no bulge. I just use it daily for minor light tasks. I have others, but I find that getting into cars, tends to push them up off the clip. Really nice to know some of the history thanks 👍🏻
A post about whether something is a Barlow or not being taken down from a forum because of the "fervour" (as you so gently describe it) this generates is, for me, the downside of this interest. I've discovered that a small but significant minority of collectors/enthusiasts/fantasists (and not only knife collectors) can exhibit very peculiar behaviour when their particular viewpoint is challenged, however politely. I prefer to believe such character traits are imported into the knife world rather than created by it, but who knows? As for this Rozee Barlow, I appreciate the back story which is both charming and unique. I want wood/bone/antler on my expensive pocket knives (and GECs are very expensive in my book), so the recent increased appearance of Delrin, Richlite, ESPL, etc on the Northfields and Tidioutes isn't exactly my thing. Great to be shown round yours though, thanks Logan.
I think the best use for this would be to carry it along with your knife for those random moments you need to pry but don’t want to mess up your blade. Taking the safety off a lighter, opening a beer, popping pieces of wood or plastic away from each other, etc.
