The Music Row Show is program that broadcasts from the heart of Nashville, TN, on - you guessed it - Music Row. Every week we bring on successful recording artists, hit songwriters and music biz insiders to talk about their careers and the craft of making music. Here are some clips of some of our favorite in-studio performances.
I wish that Mac would have told Elvis who said that he couldn't sit beside of Elvis. They were just jealous. I love this story. Mac didn't say I like that diamond ring or your car so Elvis would gift it to him. Mac got Elvis' personal home phone number. I love it !
Mac Davis, John Denver and Roy Clark inspired me to learn guitar watching them as a kid. I loved when Mac would make up a song from a title that an audience member would yell out. He was the best!
I bet Elvis never told those men to not let someone set on the same row as him! That wasn’t Elvis Presley’s way of doing things. I think those men didn’t want anyone else getting in their click! Elvis was a beautiful man inside and out!❤️🥰
Mac Davis kinda sounds like a crybaby bitch. If I had an interaction like this with anyone I wouldn't even want you to call me, after telling me you probably wouldn't anyway? You obviously don't even feel better after getting my number. What a little skank.
Mac David was an incredible man. He stayed at our family’s resort a couple of times and got to know my parents pretty well. Such an easy guy to talk to and generous with his time. We went to dinner with him and a storm caused the restaurant to lose power. I remember him playing “the spoons” while we waited for the lights to come back on and get our dinner. He stayed in touch with my parents and even invited them to his house.
ANYONE ELSE WISH THAT THE INTERVIEWER HAD ASKED MAC WHAT THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE WAS?🥴🥺😬😟(ODD THAT MAC NEGLECTED TO DO SO.) NICE STORY, BUT MAC DAVIS WAS ONE OF INUMERABLE CELEBRITIES AND PEOPLE IN THE PUBLIC EYE LIKE NEWS BROADCASTERS, RADIO AND TV SHOW ANNOUNCERS, WEATHER REPORTERS, POLITICIANS, ATHLETES, COMEDIANS AND EVEN HIGHLY EDUCATED LAWYERS WHO CONSISTENTLY USE PRESENT TENSE VERBS TO DESCRIBE PAST ACTION. VIRTUALLY ALL NARRATORS OF DOCUMENTATIESALSO HAVE THIS FLAW, WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED IN GRADE SCHOOL. IT BOGGLES MY MIND AND ANNOYS ME TO NO END. I ALWAYS SAY THE CORRECT VERB TENSE TO MYSELF SO I DON'T PICK UP BAD SPEECH PATTERNS. MAC DAVIS PASSED AWAY DURING HEART SURGERY AT AGE 78 IN 202O. A NATIVE OF DALLAS, TEXAS, I AM 77 YEARS OLD. FELLOW TEXAN MAC DAVIS WAS BORN IN LUBBOCK. I WAS NEVER ENAMORED BY HIS SINGING VOICE, BUT HE HAD A FINE SPEAKING VOICE AND WAS A GENTLEMAN TO BE ADMIRED FOR ALL TIME FOR HIS LEGACY OF FINE SONGS.
