makes sense - we ALL have tinnitus. you are not broken. its just a matter of if you have attached fear, anxiety, dread, gloom and or despair to it. it seems to 'come on' during heightened times of anxiety, tension and hyper vigilance in ones life. if so, your brain will then focus on it and make it a center point of your reality and life. so let it go. yes its not easy at first. we must retrain our feelings toward it. as stupid as it sounds make it as if its a friend.. it will go away back in the background of your life and reality and become a non issue. its the fear attached to it that perpetuates it in your life. God bless.

At one point. my tinnitus was so bad I felt like suicide to get away from it! Even went to the ER in Dallas, but they didn't do anything. Just observed me for a couple of hours. Since then I realized that it isn't bad enough to do something reactive. I am still suffering from tinnitus. Hearing aids helped for a little while. But it is increasing weekly. Funny thing, my hearing isn't super effected.

So I have this fear and panic based tinnitus, with avoidance. I finally managed my ptsd with some supplements and EMDR therapy and my tinnitus went down by 80%, and believe me or not my hearing loss went away. My neuro-otologist explained, that temp hearing loss is sometimes connected to emotional trauma and is reversible. Is it possible with neuro plasticity to completely recover from it,

Hi doc, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy 9 months ago. The symptom was the weakness of my left side face. The doctor prescribed a corticosteroid and a facial physiotherapy. A week after I started my medicine, pulsatile tinnitus started in both ears. It is still there after 9 months but my facial function is fully restored. what could be the reason for my pulsatile tinnitus?

I recently went to the indoor shooting range with my ear plugs incorrectly put in for 30 minutes and another 30 with over the ear protection. It’s been 6 days and I still hear ringing. Is this something that can completely go away? What would you call this acute acoustic trauma? I have an appointment with an audiologist on Monday to check my hearing. My eardrums were okay.

If i stop using the aids the tinnitus will be back, so in the end, its more like crutches than a real treatment... And about the brain becoming less estimulsted because of the hearing loss, i dont care, I'm 25, have severe loss on my left ear, because of an infection when i was a kid, it is acendent, i dont hear lows and mids well, bur hear highs pretty well, weird right? I don't exactly know why it is that way, but it is, all i know is that i dont want aids, i lived my whole life without them and never had any trouble, but now after a loud drummer, my tinnitus became very loud, and thats why im searching for tinnitus reliefs even if just a little... But i still don't think i want aids, and just as i said, they are crutches, and not an actual solution lol

Dr. JOE DISPENZA says we can cure our body & heal it. People go to his retreats and after a week. People are healed from whatever it is that they need to be healed from. There are people that go to his retreats and are unable to walk, and they are unable to walk for years and after his retreats that are usually seven days, some of them are five days people are able to walk after that. And the neuroplasticity of the brain and this is real science. He has tested it this stuff that she does works. I don't believe that there's no cure for the ringing in my ears. You can believe what you want. I have already been told. There's nothing wrong with my ears. I have no hearing loss blah. Blah blah I listen to loud music, blah blah blah. I have to learn to live with it blah blah blah, that is all b s to me

8:20 So basically you're telling me I need to have background? Noise all the time between. Oh between ten o'clock at night and when I wake up at four a m That's a bunch of bs. I don't care what anybody says. I am looking for a cure and if you believe you can cure your ringing in the ears, then you can and I would beg you to look up Dr. Joe de spenza. There are people that have been unable to walk for 2 years and they meditate everyday, and after a week of his retreats, they are able to walk so if people are able to walk after a week of meditating. How is it that I won't be able to cure the ringing in my ears? And your stuff that you say is just a Riga. Gurgatation of what everybody says, go get your ears. Look that see if you have hearing loss, we're hearing eggs. That's bunchable s*** I'm not going to go around wearing hearing AIDS. I've already had a hearing test 2 years ago. And they said your ears are fine. You do not have any hearing loss I've been told many times before. By many people just live with the ringing in your ears b*******, I'm not going to do that. I am going to cure the ringing in my ears. And if dr joe dispensa has proof that we can cure ailments in our body and there's evidence for it, then i'm going to do it

3:29 I have a feeling that you're going to go into talking about. Ignoring the sound and that's all frightening dandy. During the day, I'm a very busy woman and during the day. Guess what? This ringing in my hair really doesn't bother me during the day, because I'm so busy, but when I go to bed that's a different story. And if you're going to tell people, oh, just ignore it. Pretend like it's not there. Because what you focus on expands. I am a religious scientist. I am a science of mind practitioner. I follow Dr. Ernest Holmes and it is true what you focus on expands. So if I'm going to be talking about ringing in my ears that if I'm going to be researching about supplements that have to do with ringing in the ears, then naturally that's going to be at the forefront of my mind. And then it could make that issue bigger and I could hear more. I do not make this topic at the forefront of my mind during the day. Because I have other things to think about specifically. I want to gauge the parasympathetic nervous system. I want to engage that Parasympathetic, nervous system every single day. Because staying calm is my number one goal. I have a lot of things that I don't need to engage in and pretty much a lot of them have to do with my sinuses. And my ears that are separate from the ringing in my ears And I don't need an anti-anxiety medication. I don't need any of that because I am anti. Big pharma, I'm also anti psychiatrist. I don't believe in mental health meds. Other people can take them if they want to take them. That's fine. I am against them for me. I will not take an anti. Anxiety, I will not take an antidepressant, they messed me up. End of story, it is all anti. Big pharma, big pharma, is a very evil entity for me. So if anybody wants to comment and make a comment on me saying, why don't you go get? It antidepressant, i'm going to say mind your own business! So for me, it's all about holistic treatment. It's all about natural treatment and doing everything I have to do to engage that parasympathetic nervous system. But ignoring this, hissing sound very high. Pitched sound when I wake up at 4 AM......Is nearly impossible! I beg of you that you should never just ignore that hissing sound when you wake up at 3 A. M or ignore that sound when you go to bed at eleven o'clock at night By saying to people that you should ignore it. You are literally undermining the people's experience.

A few questions I never see addressed. So, we have been told that normal hearing can withstand 85 db for many hours before potential damage. So if you have hearing damage as shown in the pic in your video does that mean damaged ears will damage easier now, so, for example, say more damage can be done at 60 to 70 db. I ask because it makes no sense that damaged ears can withstand 85 db like normal ears. So with that in mind hearing aids address specific frequencies to help only for speech. So how about all the other frequencies that are not boosted would they not become part of tinnitus. What about lower frequency loss say minus 34 to 40 at 500hz down. All those lower frequencies would not also create tinnitus chaos and sound sensitivity even if you boosted the hearing frequencies to hear. Lastly, so one gets hearing aids and has one setting for loud restaurants, well let's say the restaurant hovers at 85-90 db. Would that then cause further hearing loss? Seems like audiology is missing a lot of stuff and only focusing on speech.

Many tinnitus issues are caused by severely impacted ear wax that needs to be safely and completely cleaned by ENTs and audiologists. Do all audiologists test for ear wax problems and clean this safely and compketely? I was researching that without properly and completely cleaning the earwax first the hearing test are innacurate. Would you please clarify? Thank you.

I felt the same way when mine, coupled with chronic brain fog, came on 2 years ago. Mine was caused by anxiety and trauma, nothing whatsover to do with being exposed to loud noises etc. I was literally poleaxed by it for at least two years. My social life suffered terribly because of it. I went to ENT specialists, but apart from being very expensive they were no help at all. In desperation I tried everything, including ear devices and vitamin supplements, but nothing eased it up. Try and avoid messageboards as I found them to be full of negative comments. I promise you it does get better with time. You'll find after a while you gradually become innured to the ringing, even when you have the dreaded spikes you do begin to learn to deal with them. Go easy on yourself and please remember, much of it is down to 'fight or flight'! The former wins out all the time. Here's hoping you get better.

Hello Brad. thank u for sharing the ways to reduce the tinnitus. they are so helpful. I have one question if you don’t mind to answer. my medical check and hearing test all were normal and I only can hear my tinnitus at a quiet place. I heard even the normal hearing people will have tinnitus if they are at very quiet place is it true ? my room at night is about 30DB so I am unsure if it is the cause of tinnitus because my room is too quiet 😢 thank you so much.

Why isn't science focusing on how to stop the misfiring of the neurons in the brain? Neuromodulation IMO is a highly promising method that demands further research. Instead patients are supposed to work around the tinnitus. There is no cure or help because it obviously can't be treated by a drug so it's unattractive to the pharmaceutical industry. Modern medicine is a joke.
