I own a first verion ID Core stereo 40 amp which i bought uswd from my local Music-G0-Round a few years ago I get all the tones available in the later versions, lacking some of the later additional features. but can still connect to and use the arcetect software. the Starcaster Strat electric guitar By: Fender that I got the same place for around the same price and rebuilt/modded extremely sounds great through the amp. I plan to upgrade the amp with a pair of switched 1/4" extension speaker jacks to power a pair of 4X12" vertical/tower cabs I'll build for thqt purpose.when stod together side by side with the amp on top will be in essense a "Full Stack" the 40 wqatt amp shouls be able to drive the cabs well enough. and sound great doing it. the guitat with the hand made extended brushed stainless steel pick guard loaded with 3 quaD RAIL HUMBUCKERS WIRED LIKE A CLASSIC 50'S lES pAUL WITHp/p VOL. POTS FOR COIL SPLITTS AND THE BRIDGE TONE POT ALSO A p/p TO SCTIVATE THE BRIDGE AND NECK pICK-UPS TOGETHER REGASRDLESS OF THE 5-WAY SWITCH POSITION WILL GIVE IT NEARLY UNLIMITED TONAL VARIATIONS AVAILABLE THEN ADD ALL THAT ARE IN THE AMP . iWON'T EVEN TRY TO COUNG THE VARIETY OF TONES i CAN GET WITH ALL THOSE CONTROLS.
@@jesseparrish9198 This is a custom build I did of what *could be* if Charvel built me a 7 string star to my specs. I'll drop the video link of the build just below!
@@jswazz9264 It definitely is one killer playing neck; it feels pretty similar to my 86 MIJ Model 3A's neck! I'm leaving it be, but I'll admit, I am curious! Lol
Those are sweet guitars, I had an orange one like this played just like my model 3. and those necks are smooth like "Butta". did you happen to look what humbucker you had in there?
@@hamerhead2 That's awesome! And I haven't pulled it yet, but as far as I know it's the stock Charvel branded set that came in some of these axes back in the day. It has a surprising bright, yet fat tone to it, especially for being passive. I was impressed, beings most of what I hear on these things is kinda rough! Lol
Both will be fantastic! But in my opinion, I'd say grab the 40 if you intend to use it onsatge; being mic-ed up, or ran through a mixer etc. And the 20 for strictly home use, and recording etc. But, both are phenomenal amps, can be used in a variety of situations! 🤘🤘
Nice guitars' bro. I have only owned 1 Charvel in my 39 years of playing, Oh how I wish I never gave it up, because I never seen a whitewashed Charvel again like it.
Hey, they make em! Whether it's a 5 watt, 20 watt, all.the way up to a 100 watt, there's different doses of power for any and all scenarios. Check out the website if you want to see the lineup, there's a ton! 🤜🤛 www.blackstaramps.com
I'm right at the 10 mark with my solid black one, and it's still solid; all original innards, and the pickups I put a 60 in the neck. I have 8 from the Desolation series, and after almost 6 solo albums, multiple guest solos/ collabs, singles, and years of stage play across multiple bands and acts, they all hold up very well. Solid is an understatement, and I am proud to rock all of mine! 🤘🤘🤘
i bought a Dean Vx like 1.5 year ago and i was sure thatit was the most comfortable guitar i ever played.....then i bought a jackson star and oh my god its so perfect, somehow it's even more comfortable than my V! definitely my 2 favourite body shapes
Link me your take on it, it'd love to hear! Has to be note for note, flawless, same tone, gear, settings and everything right!? Exactly. We all do our own take, and have our own way of paying tribute to EVH. I hope you continue to have a fantastic day. 🤘
You can actually download my exact tones, the ones from my albums! Just download the Blackstar Archetect software, hook up your amp, and search "Shreddly" for all my tones! 🖤🤘
