11:48 could still be the hotel, the exterior shots were taken at that one and interior rooms shots were taken at the one next door, because it makes almost no sense that they would have the same extiorors, while builders were known to build similar stuff, perhaps they liked the outside of that one better but were not able to film inside the rooms for some reason or they liked the views of the other one across the street better, the fact the coke machine is even there is amazing
Most likely because of all the crap that's going on in the industry right now. Smh. Hope things straighten up, get back much better and with no filth 💯
Great recap! I doubt BDK turned much of a profit that night, after he paid his band. Was an interesting watch. Everyone else must be at Taylor Swift these days!
This is intriguing because a lot of old artists can sell out concerts if the ticket is well put together. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony still sell out their venues even by themselves. And that's a group that's 30 years old. This is also probably a city by city, case by case type situation. 🤷🏾♂️
Very good review man I love the content... Keith Washington had a huge amount of hits back in the late 80s it would have been a good show I'm in Dallas-Fort Worth
Bad promotion and line up. Maybe Michel'le, but Keith Washington made no sense. They should've added others who compliment EPMD and Kane meaning other rappers from the 80s
Big daddy Kane and epmd instant sell out I love this 80s guy he would’ve definitely been part of Chatham kids crew growing up peace my man keep it going
Do you see how the 80s had a lot more bands and talented singers? People were recording in analogue still and digital equipment was VERY expensive so you had to be very creative in how you used it. If you listen to many of the synth and keyboard arrangements in the 80s, they were FAR MORE advanced than the 2020s. Look at what David Frank and Nick Martinelli were doing. Plus with new FX like reverb and flange, 12" Pop and R&B mixes were incredible, listen to LaFace and Jam & Lewis remixes. And many people were multi-talented like Narada Michael Walden - singing, playing multiple instruments, songwriting and producing!
