@@herbertmichaels2841work was very slow for me, but I also was born and raised there so it might be a little different. I moved to another state at 26. Most jobs I had were in the retail and food service industry. I will say that things are looking up though. We have new companies like Amazon who have came in and made more jobs for residents. And yes, the housing market is significantly better than other states! It’s the one thing that is keeping our residents. Plus we experience all 4 seasons and not many natural disasters!
@@BreDFrayer i noticed detroit has alot of huge houses that are gorgeous for 10,000$ but im wondering if any of those cheapos would be fixable or the area even safe enough at all. Detroit looks like it was once gorgeous
What do yall think it be like for a road vendor .i fix windshield chips and do headlight restorations. It takes fairly busy roads to do enough cars are there higher traffic areas close by?
I was born and raised in the great city Albuquerque NM. I am a high school graduate and a business graduate. Just like all cities in America Albuquerque has its poor areas of town but I was raised in a middle class family and I resent people judging my home state when they have not lived in Albuquerque. Hypocrites are not welcomed in the best place to live in the world.
I live in Albuquerque….born in Saginaw , Michigan near the infamous Flint and Detroit Michigan. I’m not judging your state at all. I actually love it; the culture, the food and the people. I moved there due to my career. I’m sorry if I gave off that impression! I’m just showing people the area. Thank you for the comment though!
@drg how bad or good is it for a new college student? Is there stuff to do for 18 year olds or just over 21? Which areas of the town would you recommend to stay out of? My daughter should be coming there to UNM in the fall. Thanks! ::
@@Martina1192 upper central is a area of poor people which causes trouble but they are trying to renovate the area. UNM is a excellent college to optain a degree.
@@BreDFrayer I have a friend he moved to Albuquerque 14 years ago he’s video called me here bk in the uk a few times now asking me to go visit him I think he said the actual place he lives is San Antonio & he said I should fly into Albuquerque but I’m thinking I should fly to NY & maybe hire a camper van I think you guys call them RVs & then drive to where he lives I think with stops that would take about 7 days 😊 as when I checked it on google maps it said something like 1 day 19 hours constant drive from NY to Albuquerque! I think that would be a real road trip! Do you no if camper van hire would be expensive or cheap compared to here in the uk? Or how many US Dollars roughly it would cost me for a week or 2 hire? Or would you have any alternative travelling advice like train- car or even part by car & part camper van ? any any input would be appreciated
@@v4nlife282 I would definitely recommend renting a car! So I would fly into NY then drive in a rental to NM! It would take long, but it would be the ultimate road trip! Getting a camper would be nice too, but it would take longer and require more gas and money. You could use that extra money to get a hotel and sleep or stack up on road trip snacks! That’s just my opinion though!
@@BreDFrayer it's funny I caught that bird though, I was actually watching to see if you caught me on my way to work, I ride a Bicycle to work everyday and that's my route. I am always looking for myself watching in any Saginaw videos, as I'm out and about allot, so far I haven't caught myself on any but I used to be on Google street view (until they updated it) I was sitting on my sister's porch rolling a joint 😂

Yeah true the only sad thing is nothing last or stay open late due to all the tweekers an homless ppl I live in Phoenix for awhile an things be popping here ..👍

@@lrollin100I had a bad experience, but everyone doesn’t go through that. I ended up moving to Rio Rancho instead. I had an issue with people breaking into my car and the crime was crazy. I would suggest Santa Fe! It’s a little boring but safer!
Really brings back some memories = going down mich ave and court street. lived just of S bond. Left there 50 years ago and the west side doesn't look too bad - except for the roads. Definitely not as many people around as before. Used to always sees people on the sidewalks - almost a ghost town now - even bay road. Sad.
I grew up inand our of Burque and many years I have seen curiosity kill the cat in the real war zone. Central and Zuni but worst is bus station ... careful it's a deep Raza thick in blood in blood out mentality. Most of the whe area is predators.
Oh no I’m fine but thank you. I’ve grown up in some rough areas too. I also volunteer downtown near the bus station. I move around a lot though so it’s not new to me. Albuquerque is bad but I’ve seen worse and know how to protect myself. But I’ll take note though from a abq native!
@@BreDFrayer good girl. Welcome to we are one color here. I am pale skinned and get reverse racism most in the smaller community in the Las Vegas and Mora area. Other than against white these areas aren't as racist as the south Louisiana where my dad is from. Las Vegas is an interesting small place to visit. Come sometime there are so many cool outside things. Montezuma Castle Hot springs natural good karma there.
First time watching your videos I'm also from Albuquerque New Mexico great to see somebody taking an interest and driving around our city it's good to see from somebody elses perspective
