Hey AverageAmericanWoman, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) 🙂 Cheers, Felix
Oh man. that really tugs my heart strings. One time my wife and I left on a trip to go up to the great Northwest to visit family. We were gone about 2 weeks. My cat had a computerized collar, so he was able to go in-and-out and get food and water, plus the lady next door looked out for him. When we came back after about 2 weeks, he was giving us the most forlorn cry when he saw us. I went over to him, and picked him up and petted him, as did my wife.He carried on like that for about 3 days afterwards.I felt so, so bad for him. Now that I think about it, I have to wonder how much damage I did to that cat emotionally.
Neato! I saw a few of these things around here a few years ago and thought about getting an airplane one, but I never did. Now all the whirligigs have vanished.
I had my cat 16 years. At the begining i was still living with my mom and cat had access to everywhere. Then i moved to my own and had small apartment and my cat gad access everywhere. Then i moved with my ex and m cat could access everywhere else but not in the bedroom. After that he started meowing at the night time and scratched our bedroom door. But that time he wasn´t alone. My ex had cat too so he had companion but still he did that sometimes. And when were propably about in our deepest sleep around 3am then they started the great rumble around the house. Runnin aimlesly around the house for on half a hour. Sometimes there heard crash or bang in somewhere and if you went watching you propably didn´t find what it was 😂.
Oh my gosh I was trying to confirm why my four month old kitten has started doing this when I havent gotten up from my bed in the morning and everyone else is up and running. We are the closest and when he can't find me he sounds just like this in the hallway and living room until I come out and say "Here I am, buddy, I'm okay." He runs up to me and I will pick him up and he will sit with me while I have my morning coffee. I just assumed that he needed me to reassure him since he got separated from his real mom really young when we found him on the side of our house and we do everything together with me being home all the time now. Man this video made me cry but I got my answer, thank you
This made me remember the times we had to take our cat to a kennel, when on vacation. Every time she came home, she would go to the garage, cried n cried.. yes, they do miss us, n their surroundings.. it broke my heart.
@@JohnSmith-zw8vp You are not cruel when you are going on a vacation once in a while. We all need one sometimes when we can afford one. There are ways to train an animal to help it be less anxious when you leave it. That way you can enjoy life without guilt and your cat will not be so stressed out. Your kitty will still love you.
@@heidibower2538 But kitty will be so sad though...like in that one video where her daddy just went to the grocery store and she was at the door all sad and crying for her daddy :,( Yeah, "independent" my foot! :P
@@JohnSmith-zw8vp You misinterpreted my point. When I was a teen, my parents housed a black labrador. He was playful and very sweet. But he had separation anxiety. It was so bad that he would wreck the house when we just away for church. Even when we were at home and if he were in a room alone with the door open he would destroy the floor by digging through it like it was dirt. When he was put outside he would eat a chunk from the outside of our house. This happen because we didn't train the dog properly to help the dog or ourselves. There is nothing wrong with loving our pet. But we can't have them glued to our side all of the time or risk our house being wrecked.
My cat does this at night whilst ripping paper? If I dont leave out paper for him, he FINDS some. I come and get him and he just forces me to put him down so that he can keep doing it..? Is it for sure separation anxiety?
It is tough to leave a clingy kitty. But we're going to need to leave the house to get groceries and run errands. That's just life sweetie. Eventually the pets will learn that too if you train them. It's also pretty nice to come back home to our fur babies also.
My cat does this when he was waking up in the morning. He calling me for an hour, then he come to my room, he farts to my face, then he leaves again. Wtf
We have 2 cats-siblings only 1 does this when no one is home & still does this when I goes out even when the hubby & son is at home doing their own thing. I'ld have to go on my security camera just speak to him to calm him down.
