that's not the real issue they won't charge those prices if people refuse to pay a premium price. I'm looking to buy land but not desperate to pay crazy prices. If i can't find land at a reasonable price I'll just continue to invest right here in UK where i won't have to worry about flooding or mud every time it rains

This is the only video so far I disagree with you on sorry, the majority of Africans do see their family abroad as cash cows and will cut you off if you cant help. Not just family in Africa but freinds too etc. These arent just peopel with "no dignity" pple genuinely expect stuff from you even if they don't actually ask. Even.the moment some sellers hear your accent they'd increase the price soley based on you being a foreigner.
But who owns these lands, the government? How are they selling it, howcome it was theirs? How did they get authority over that land anyways in the first place. How can I be sure that I'm buying and owning land legally and confirm the seller did own the land. (I'm young I dont really understand how land can be owned that's why. Cuz who gave it to the seller?)

I do Have a few questions: #1: If you buy land directly from the Chief and you don't register it, is there some kind of paperwork that can be done to show evidence of the agreement with that chief; such as a contract or Memorandum of Understanding? #2: How do you deal with buying land in places where there are Chieftaincy disputes? and lastly, #3: When writing a renewal clause are you only able to put one renewal in the clause? or can you negotiate for multiple renewals?
