I don't think he is stronger but in my opinion harder and tougher , omega was easy with that switch damage to heal magic , and yiazmat isn't hard at all just big ass hp 50m
I find the shadowseer harder than the 3 u mentioned , hellwyrm was a nerfed yiazmat and Ultima was moderate difficulty she was close to a save crystal if I remember or maybe 🤔 not don't remember
The Answer is easy: None of them is hard when you know what to do. Simple equipping a buttload of materia and not giving attention to the weapons and their special abilities eg. wil make most of the boss fights harder than necessary. And i fully disagree by the ranking of the weapons. Ruby is way harder than emerald.
Had no problems with any boss apart from Ruby and Emerald. Just used Big Guard, Regen and attacked with Ultima / physical attacks or the most powerful spell I had in that moment
Personally, dhoulmagus was the toughest in the game. Even the last boss wasn't as agonizingly tough, cuz by the end game, you got good skills like omniheal. I probably had to level up to mid 30s and i still barely beat him. But damn was it satisfying. Jester bosses are always fun.
in my opinion Olrox might be the hardest. That dude absolutely sucks. I cheesed the heck out of a lot of these bosses but could never totally figure out that guy. Despite being a terribly flawed game his fight in LoS 1 was pretty good
I played FFX and FFX2 many, many times. The enemies in FFX2 are not very difficult, the only difficult ones are trema, paragon, chac, mega tomberry and the desert boss. FFX has far more difficult enemies including the monster arena bosses, dark aeons, penance, Seymour flux, Yunalesca,and Omega weapon
There really isnt any 'hardest boss' in this game. To me it was all about materia prep/farming and level grinding. If you utilized the combo effects with the right materia then you would have no problems fighting any boss in the game. With levels, it was tedious but worth the few extra hours of building up the stats prior to any fight. My first time playing through the game when it was released was overwhelming, but I learned quickly through my next playthrough on the benefits of putting in the time of ap farming. Just my two cents.
The Doulmagus boss fight was such a difficultly spike that it’s almost comical. He does so much damage and is ignorant fast. Also, if I’m correct, this is the first story line boss that your introduced to what seems to be the infinitely spammable “Wave of Ice”. I can’t count how many times I lost to this dude but when I finally managed to beat him, it was extremely satisfying………and then I got to the Empyrea boss fight 😳😩
😂😂 omg i remember first time entering doulmagus fight I was wiped out so easily I remember it was so hard that I went to side quests and level up more to come back later to beat him
@@deltarek1534 Dhoulmagus and Empyrea are the two biggest hurdles in the game. You get past them and the rest of the game is a cake walk. Especially once you get endgame weapons, equipment and items aka Timbrel of Tension and the Sage’s stone (these two items alone break the game).
None of the boss in XII zodiac are that hard they can all be stat down threw wither shear expose and addle even bosses like yiazamt and omega are easier becasue they work now, none of the bosses are that hard if your prepared, as for Zodiark use excaliber to take off large amounts than when it shifts switch off might switch it to dark weapons, you can bypass the physical paling if you can do enough damage before it even starts to use it but have a magic user ready and than use shock not scathe why becasue shock has less recover time than scathe. ALl you ned in the mines to get to zodiark ribbon thats it you should be strong enough, for omega reverse and wither it down, JUst know you cant just brute strength your way through them.
I play ff12 every year since 2008 until now and after years of playing I can say the top 5 most difficult bosses on FF12 are Yiazmat Omega Mark XII Hell Wyrm Behemoth King Zodiarc
Fact: One key to defeating Yiazmat is to fully stack the Wither technick on it. All of that superboss’s attacks are physical damage, including Cyclone. At full stacks, Yiazmat does almost no damage, though you still have to watch for its instant-death attacks. Regardless, that eases up on healing so you can focus on one character tanking the boss right in front of it while one or two party members DPS it from one of its sides.
True true that's pretty much what I did basch was tanking him with his knight class , the fight is pretty bearable if it wasn't for the big chunk of hp
@@deltarek1534, same with Basch. I had Vaan as a Shikari/Bushi who - equipped with the Yagyu Darkblade, the Dark Robe and Genji Gloves, was buffed with Haste, Bravery and Berserk. He went TOTAL PSYCHO on Yiazmat and tore him to shreds. Penelo (White Mage/Time Battlemage) healed where necessary and otherwise buffed Basch and Vaan. Ashe (Black Mage/Monk) stacked Wither to make the fight easier and otherwise kept up buffs if needed until all Wither stacks were up. Even at low health, Yiazmat's "Growing Threat" buff seemed more like "Hollow Threat" compared. ;)
Tbh after I defeated Fafnir before him he was pretty easy to me , the only thing annoying Abt him is how to Spawn him and killing everything in those zones , except that I found him to be above normal difficulty probably in top 12 or so
Tbh that's true too for the most of RPGs and video games x) I do always over level and explore so I agree , all bosses in this game can be easy if ur over level except the first I think
Only thing is hard about yiazmat is that one super attack that can one shot ur team even if ur lvl 99 and the one fact that he can restore health past if u give him a enough room 🤣, about Gilgamesh I think everyone who played ff12 did defeat him with the inch of their life's because of the tricky fact that he is much harder and higher level than the 1st fight I remember I defeated him with only have vaan and penelo left on my team xD it was very long and close fight
I hated fighting Zodiark as much as the next guy. Never lost to that thing even on the OG FF12, but that's only because I made doubly sure to prepare well in advance. IIRC Darkja only wiped me out once or twice in all those fights because I spammed Shell and Black Mask on everyone to survive. Amazingly, the fight is the easy part. Getting there is both harder AND more tedious than the fight itself...
Zodiark is my least favorite fight too xD I hated that dude even after defeating yiazmat I was still getting one shot by his darkja his fight could have been way easier if he had save crystal next to him and u don't have to walk back the entire zone to fight him
for the first battle one it can be if u dont teleport or use like black chocobo for flying. but I do use those two and I recruit most of the humans by luck. so it was super easy lol. for me hardest was red chocobo river, taming those dam hydras, weigraf fight if u arent ready. hes easy too if u use the chamelon robes and float boots so he basically cant touch u. critcal hp recover+ 97 bravery+ steel u should be able to beat him. his demon form a lot more annoying so I try to spam yell and focus until like he does 999 damage lol but yea the first demon boss can be annoying so I use skeletons since they are immune to death cause after death counter reaches to zero nothing happens. now the algus one I do agree the most. I had to recruit the mages so I dont get rekted lol

I recently watched my friend do his first playthrough on this, and he struggled alot more with axel and larxene then marluxia despite being prepared, they'd both retaliate card breaks so fast it almost made countering useless
