I just watched an Atheist show and I swore I saw a glimpse of Paul watching them from the side of the stage, obviously I was right. This is a great piece of (time) history especially considering it was Tony Choy on bass.

The venue they’re playing is the Trash Can on Miami Beach and if the date is correct then it was a number of local bands including Quit, Powerhouse,, and Awake from Tampa

Thanks for sharing! The only recording of this forgotten gem. That is most definitely Tony Choy on bass as he can be seen in the brief split screen view, this gig was around the time of the 1990 demo at which point Mark Van Erp had already left to join Monstrosity. Cynic were always ahead of their time so no surprise with the small crowd. What was a throwaway number to them is still inspirational to this day
