Love your insights! I painted my old ladder black and left the shelf wood natural. I like to use the things I love as well and think a pop of color is a good thing! Plants, rocks, lanterns, shells, etc... Good video! 🌻🌼🌞
I appreciate your positivity. My God moment for the day (and every day) is just noticing and being thankful for the beautiful day, the sun, the sky, nature while I am on my daily walk.
Great advice. My husband and I have been married for 45 years and we have oftentimes told others that we make a good team. A good team member is knowing what you are working with. It's important for both of you know the financial process. Love language is the glue without it with fall apart.
Hi, Katie! I’m Cindi (from WV), and I just discovered your new channel, as I was sitting on my screened back porch with my 2 cats and all of my beautiful plants! I, too, have a ladder, painted white with wallpaper on each step that displays some of my sweet plants! Yes, cleaning is on my agenda for today for my porch…it gets dirty due to all of the wind we’ve been having. I have some wicker chairs and sofa (full of cushions and pillows), a small wicker coffee table, 2 old end tables…one has a sweet little lamp, and of course, plants on all 3! It’s so cozy at night with the lamp on! And, yes, don’t forget the rug! 😂. It’s longer than it is wide, but opens into the pool patio area for our inground pool, which gets lots of use during these hot summer days by my family and 7 grandchildren! So, it’s a nice sanctuary, and I’ve read many books, sipped coffee, iced tea, and wine with friends! I am a new sub…welcome to RU-vid…hope your channel grows BIG! Cindi (from WV)😊
Hi Cindi! I am so happy to hear all of this!! BTW what are your cat's names? My husband and I want cats so badly, but will have to wait untill we get a place of our own. Reading your story makes me picture such a lovely summer day with family and friends ♥ Thank you SOOO much for the support! It means a lot!!
Ooh, that Mesquite seasoning looks good.... how can you go wrong with brown sugar in it ! I will also say it's very satisfying to see all the spices together in the drawer all filled. Nice choice of font on the jars.
I think all homes need a comfortable screened in back porch especially for us in New England after sundown to keep the mosquitoes away. Having an outdoor living space lends itself to a healthier way of life. Love all the insightful suggestions. Looking forward to more content.
Thanks! And I totally agree with the mosquito aspect! Whenever I'm outside of the screened-in porch, I forget how much of a luxury it is to be without mosquitos 🤣
I love your cozy porch. My husband & I spend lots of time sitting on ours watching all the birds! I am a big fan of all the plants & I have a small wooden step stool that I keep some of my small plants on. I love your painters ladder! Enjoy your cozy lounge chair & a good book!
@vickyspiers2835 aren't porches the best?!?! Love that you watch the birds! If hummingbirds are in your area, you should definitely get a hummingbird feeder. They are one of my favorites 😍 and love the small wooden step stool idea! So creative!
@@KatieTsHome We have 3 hummingbird feeders & we have bluebird houses & get to watch the many fledglings eat mealworms in their feeder! Yes, we are really into bird watching! 😆 I learned just this year, that fledglings from the 1st nesting, of the season, help feed the next group of siblings! I had no idea
