Your thinking of the scene when Nancy and Sid are walking through a back lot in New York, when they come across a few young kids playing cards, one kid accuses of cheating at the game and starts roughing him up. When the iconic couple arrives and intervene, one of the boys asks "Who do you think you are?" Where he calmly replies "I'm Sid Vicious!" Then the boys hastily run away

@@BEATSTREETSHORTS ok I thought of one of my favorite parts when they are talking to Nancy's grandmother and she tells Nancy not to fib and Nancy says fuck you grandma hahaha
@@_Skim_Beeble Both Classics, just watching the Max series again, I forgotten alot of the scenes, it's like watching again for the first time. Definitely ahead of its time, the first car type horror movie even made before Friday the 13th , the Forest scene I think inspired Friday the 13th.
It's such a dam shame. I guess there will never be a commemorative fender p bass that sid playing. You have to make your own. That's what sid would have told you
@@johnreyes195In all of the Chaos,Sid had that humour and Entertained people for a Very short but Spectacular time, , the actual Status of a True Rock n roll Rebel.😎
I worked on a Michael Mann production, BAND OF THE HAND when VICE was filming too. Indeed -- Miami has changed. (I hope that the 'SWEET SHOP' ... a malt shop a block off of Collins is still there-!) Thanks for sharing this-! D.A.
@@MeBeTheDB Thankyou for sharing, you were a part of the that whole vibe that was happening in the 80s , I'm uploading some more Miami Vice locations, it was my Favourite TV show in the 80s😎💙
I remember having the commentary on watching this movie, and I think it was the director who said something like “that’s the most punk thing to do, to put your ego or pride aside and join the boys and dance to some disco for a minute, and the real Sid would have probably done the same thing.” One of my favorite movies, truly a classic. And this is one of my favorite endings to any other movie I’ve seen, maybe my personal fav. The eating of the old pizza inside the broken down abandoned restaurant, I knew he was already dead in the movie perspective. Still gives me goosebumps. Two outstanding performances, Chloe Webb in most scenes even outshining Oldman, very hard thing to do.
@@schmeltingaccident It's a Classic movie, totally agree, this final scene gave me different emotions for Sid, this could have been a glimpse of maybe is move from Punk music as he was kind of reflecting, but also after all the heavy Punk music in the film, this Disco dance was like saying the World was emersed in Disco and Punk was still just starting, I remember watching it 86 and it really helped me understand the whole Punk story especially with Sid and Nancy before Social media could show us. Thankyou for your comment. 😎💙
@@BEATSTREETSHORTS thanks for uploading. Also, I think it might have been suggested in the commentary track (been quite a while since I listened to it) that the little boys with the radio telling Sid to “not be so stuck up” were angels of sorts, trying to usher him in by making him kinda drop the facade and just be himself, to which he just said “why not” kinda and danced with them. Then, the limo pulled up with his bride awaiting him.
@@schmeltingaccident Yes because Nancy was Already gone. The pizza was Heroin, he then joined Nancy, your right it could have been Sids last chance before he took the shot. I might try and do another Sid and Nancy video in some capacity. I'm a huge pistols fan.😎
