Thank you so much!! I watched another video where someone cast a pumpkin, but they didn't explain what they were doing. But, you answered all the questions I had from the previous video.

What about the release? People watching might not understand that you needed the release between pours.

Very Nice vídeo. The first garlic was a real one? And the yellow round sheet what is it? I having many issues when using soap 😕. It glues gypsum with gypsum.

Thank u. If you are referring to the one I used for the mold casting, yes, it was a fresh garlic, and the yellow sheet is made of copper metal. It's quite useful when I create small-scale plaster molds. If using soap doesn't work well, you can try applying a thin coat of slip instead, as sometimes it works better.

What about a pour spout?
@riimake
@riimake Год назад
A pour spout is not needed, because I fill the mold with clay instead of slip.

Thank you for sharing! I would love to see how this mold is used. There is usually an opening to pour the clay into right? How do you make a piece from this mold?

I use sliced slabs and press into the mold.. (^^) You can refer to the light bulb making video from my youtube list. Below is the link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jJYaaSc6q5Y.html

How do you fill the mold to cast a copy?

By using cut slabs and gently pressing into the mold.. Take a look at the light bulb video from my list. It’ll show you the making process. Below is the link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jJYaaSc6q5Y.html
