Damn, that intro had me feeling patriotic bro. The editing was on point! Also congratulations on the reverse speed run world record for uploading 😂 jkjk Always happy to see a King video in my feed and this one did not disappoint!
Do you hear that... It sounds like a pickaxe hitting stone... Brothers of the mine rejoice??? Are they singing??? Sounds like you're gonna have to get in that mine and dig dig dig with them
As MC seems to be set in far post-apoc times, I wish there were more ruins, maybe even a ruins biome. We would expect to see at least stone ruins in a bit more abundance than the temples. So since their isn't much, I am trying to fill my world with a lot of ruins but there is seriously a dearth of ideas online. What I like to do is get random coordinates inside 5000 blocks and just build something ruined wherever that is. Sometimes it's underground or maybe underwater if it puts me in the ocean. I've been doing this for about a year and can still walk around forever without running into a ruin but when I do it really does feel like it belongs there. Now with 1.19 here I can incorporate sculk into the underground ruins if I want. 90% of the ruins I build I never see again because MC is so big but I like knowing they exist.
Oh man.. It's been so long I don't think I still have the modlist. I do believe that Tektopia and Galacticraft was all I had. Oh and also Replay Mod for the footage stuff
OOOHH I love thissss! i wanna recreate it in my mushroom village im creating cause it looks so cool! also if you can, can u build a big tree stump tutorial for a nether portal like @lowresbones ? like the one in his series?
You really are knocking it out on all levels, the editing, the builds, the music choices and cues, and now you're doing redstone too. When I come back to mining I'm going to have to step up my game
Dude I love how the kitchen turned out. I wish there were more things like that in vanilla honestly; the little detail bits. Nice video as well; I love the timelapses and cinematic shots. The house in the rain was gorgeous I think
Thanks so much man! I agree that vanilla needs more small detail things, it was one of the main reasons I moved to using these mods in the first place lol
@@MehNamesKing I could see that. Just the little knife in the cutting board alone is adorable, not to mention the cookie jar. That might be the cutest thing I've ever seen in minecraft
This was so good king, you still crack me up with the awkwardness, and you're editing is reaching knew heights man, loved the new intro style, keep up the great work
If you take over the village you can be "MehNamesMayor". Also the cuts with the animals and the music starting and stopping I thought was pretty funny! You're mod pack seems cool and I can't wait to see where you take this! I like the barn roof by the way. I think it'll be even better once everything's kinda gone more green on the copper. Was very very happy to receive this notification sir, a fantastic return indeed!
Hmm definitely one of the better ruins I’ve seen on RU-vid. You could call it a stone henge like structure but often irl ruins are often so bad that you can’t tell what it used to be. Which means you could also say this was the main chamber in a temple or palace but the surrounding structure has since eroded away leaving only the circle of pillars l.
I like how nicely these coould fit in many minecraft biomes because the size is similar to many small minecraft structures . . . . adding stripped_birch logs to the base of extra tall mushrooms also looks interesting about the very large creative mushrooms having a gradiant from center of the cap and the base of the mushroom looks nice and adding textures to the stems also interesting
Try this idea, seriously, it looks really good underwater, especially from further away. Use any block for the stem that you think will work. Now....Place some shroomlights in a clump, as if you were making the cap of the mushroom, but make it smaller than the average cap because of the next parts. Surround the shroomlight entirely ( on the top anyway ) with slime blocks. Hear me out. It adds a jelly..not so...rigid appearance to it. Not done yet though...now...the colors ive seen that i feel work the best especially if you put mushrooms underwater which i love to do, works best there...is pink, purple, blue ( lapiz color ) yellow ( but its very loud, and a lot can be too much make them smaller ), white, and green glass even works, it looks darker green than usual because oft the slime blocks. the slime block takes away from how visible the shroomlight is, while still letting light through. The glass allows the light as well, and the slime blocks give some fleshiness to the mushrooms. Imagine subnautica jellyshrooms. That. It works really well in my opinion For land, use the same method, but instead of putting glass, just keep it at the slime blocks, and use a Quartz block stem. the whiter white makes the mushroom look magically white, and the slime blocks make it earthy, like elvish forest if it had glowing mushrooms. In frozen biomes, try with ice if you desire. I love this idea personally im using your mushrooms SHAPES for my own block choice. Nice work man
Ayy bro good video very informative but I want to recommend there was a lot of time in the video that wasn't needed. Ex: your intro was 90 seconds, you over explained things sometimes. And while going from 1 area to another you took a lot of time to explain your reasons for the design. This is in no way me trying to be rude. I just know some people don't have 30minutes to spend on a tutorial video. I recommend making scripts to help keep you from over explaining things. Also when you moving to new things or subject instead of explaining it you could put text overlays in the bottom left or right of your screen. Also putting time stamps in tutorial videos allows people to come back for the exact build they are looking for. No hate I just want to give some pointers to make your video a more consumable piece of content. Which most people prefer.
This is all very helpful!! I've been getting a few comments mentioning scripting my videos, and I'll look into doing that in the future. I also was pretty sure I added time stamps... I'll have to look into that Overall, very helpful criticism man! Much appreciated :D
A ruined big stone church, with leaves and mossy and cracked stone bricks and cobblestone, and on the side, a ruined and beautiful cementery with boulders and debris of the church around
