I bought a new laminator from Hobby Lobby and it only takes 5 min. to heat up, its a newer style so they have improved so you don't have to wait so long.
I recently had the same results with minc foil like you did with the pink foil. I’ve used this foil before on sticker paper and it came out fine. I use a cannon laser printer and a mic foil machine. I have tried setting 1-3 and they both had the same results this week. Prior to this setting always worked. Do you know why this might happen? Could the foil be old? Thanks for sharing this video for newbies like me. Especially info about different foil and where I can get better foil.
Lovely results with the interference ink! Didn't even know it existed... I have Pearl Ex powders & paints, but have never seen it in an ink pad. Enjoying my BP...certainly not a "need" in the crafting world, but fun! Appreciate the paper comparisons. When I got my BP, I spent a weekend comparing papers that I had and what worked/didn't work along with inks I owned....amazed at the amount of work and time it took to do that!
Exactly what I said on my video. For people who are limited on space. I travel a lot for business this handled most of the dies I took with me for cardmaking. I used it in thr hotel and made several cards. I originally purchased it for my daughter. There are people who craft in travel trailers or crops. There are many benefits to a smaller die cutting machine you don't need a larger one for.
thank you for this video, very helpful. I just got my scout but I haven't had time to open box. I had a sizzix sidekick but hardly used it and I don't know what I did but it only partially cuts now. I had been hunting for something small and I'm excited to try this. I need my electronic die cutting machine for my hands but for small, quick pieces I'm have high hopes for this.
I took this little guy with me this week to the hotel to work on Gina K new release for next week and WOW. I am impressed! My video skills not so great. But little buddy is definitely my new hotel crafting companion.
I use to live in Maryland and ran across this company but was unsure if I should order from them so you just help them get another customer. Yes I am also addicted to buying craft items. I need help. I need to sell some of them so I am looking into that now. The cards are beautiful and I hope I can make some as beautiful. All the ladies did a great job, I hope to be just as good one day.
