You emptied the place of tiny ones. I’ve had some big ones over the years. I used to fish there as a student for cheap protein for my flat mates and I.
Another fab video Darren, couldn’t ask for better weather (unlike the recent oceanic amount of rain we’ve had)! Best of luck on the hounds & rays, happy to share any helpful info. And to answer your magic question, “I’m gonna show you me BALLS”! Surprised that wasn’t flagged for being NSFW 🤣 Cracking little giveaway mate, and best of luck to all who answered correctly!
Balls Darren, when I’m fishing flatfish I find if I keep the rod tip as low as possible and the line slack it can increase bites, I use the Shakespeare salt rod rest and would have the flattie rod down on the extendable leg screw, worth a try but unfortunately some days the fish just aren’t there, I also like fishing turbot in a gentle westerly wind with a series of small waves about 4 to 5 inches high rolling in, the turbot just seem to switch on in these conditions, keep up the good work thankyou
Hi David. I am sorry to hear that. Sometimes, worm just does not last well. I am sure if you approach Lenny about this, he will sort you out. Thank you for watching. Tight lines 👍

It’s Balls Darren! 😅👍 Great video as always and appreciate the details on the rig you’re using. I hope you’re getting some sponsorship from the NE tourism board as you certainly show the best of the region. Finally, well done for providing a toilet stop for the local dogs I’m sure it’s appreciated 😊
