That's enough trauma for 15 people in just one life. I read a novel about her as a teen (by German author Franjo Terhart, not sure if there is a translation) which seems to have pictured her vivid biography quite accurately. It definitely made a lasting impression.
The wind correction I think not saving any facts of if we aren't exactly sure what happened in the church... so many pro and anti Bruce sources clear. But children entered both armed and one left
Look like my 7th great grandmother whose maiden name was (Mac)Duff was named Isabelle in this lady's honor. And I do like her independent nature-so what if she was a girl? If her brother could crown a Scottish king, she could, too. lol Thanks for posting!
What if Mary lived to be 100 years?? How would that effect history? Lady jane grey? Elizabeth? She could have affected both of their lives tremendously. Maybe even made regent after the death of Henry 8.
Thank-you so much. Marjorie was my 22nd great grandmother. I did know she was killed in a riding accident. It's interesting because most women knew not to ride when they were pregnant. I just found out my ancestry in Scotland. But I love how you have taken on these brief biographies. Great job!
Thank you for your film. I presume that English is not your first language, so may I point out that the chair sort of thing on which kings and queens sit is a "throne", while "thrown" applies to a ball that has just left the thrower's hand. Keep up the good work, but do get your text checked by someone who is competent in English.
Please tell me why you feel it necessary to have the background music while speaking! It interferes with what you are saying and makes it hard to the listener to hear what you are saying! I had to stop the video after a minute.
My ancester was Comptroller to the Empress Maud. He was called Oleanor de Holme, descendent from John Holme, who came over as a captain with William1 army.
Hold up, what about his rendition of the Bible ( kjv) his book on witchcraft called Daemonology and the fact that he is responsible for the ungodly death of hundreds of people he accused of witchcraft?
Come on man, the pride flag in the beginning should be a big clue. There is good and evil in the world. The bible is good and if people don't want to recognise it you can be sure on the side they are on.
Wow. I would like to suggest something. I found this very difficult to follow. I don't mean to sound crass ... I'm hoping this will benefit you. I love history especially the life story of Matilda of Tuscany. She's my all time favorite historical figure. I think you need to slow the video down. Read a bit slower... there's barely 3 seconds to read each caption... each one goes by way too quickly. I had to back it up like four times and pause every new caption throughout the rest of the video just to keep up with the narrator. And yes I'm aware I can adjust the speed on my end but I shouldn't really have to... just for one video.
