Bethlehem University is a Catholic co-educational institution in the Lasallian tradition whose mission is to provide quality higher education to the people of Palestine and to serve them in its role as a center for the advancement, sharing and use of knowledge.
The University emphasizes excellence in academic programs and the development of students as committed people prepared to assume leading positions in society. The University aspires to fostering shared values, moral principles and dedication to serving the common good.
This is a great on-the-ground project, and may it continue to prosper - although I wonder if it may have somewhat hit the buffers during the current war status? In any case, let us pray for Israel and for Palestinians everywhere - most of whom are innocent victims of a regime hell-bent on wiping Israel off the face of the earth.

Jean Lurçat is a great artist but he is unknown and above all he is completely forgotten. He was an artist who used his art, his time for a project that was important to him: the possible end of humanity through a nuclear conflict and the hypothesis of a "resurrection" of life in all its forms . He used all his technical means, his personal money to carry out this project. The song of the world was neither a private order nor an order of the French state. The song of the world was the personal artistic project of Jean Lurçat that he wanted to bequeath to humanity. This video document is the longest I know and probably the most exhaustive on this visual monument. It deserves to be studied.
Why not make a video every Christmas reciting achievements or progress the University made throughout that year in terms of benefiting their students or making Bethlehem a better place?
I don’t see how the University focuses on our needs, when we don’t even get a decent quality of education. Not to mention the teachers, most of whom don’t really care much about anything, not even preparing their own material before the lectures so that they don’t do any mistakes.
I understand the fear from the muslim , I cant understand the hypocrisy ! jews never killed or hurt cristian people - Beit-Lehem been occupied by the Arab legion after 1949 end war - then the most of the civilians in Beit-Lehem (30,000) were christians . under the the Israelis from 67-95 (given to the palestinian authority ) Was the best and prosfer time of this university ! From 1972-1997 the mayor been Elias Freij and he had good relations with the Israeli government . The money and the new rebuild of the university been along the israeli rule . There is no jews in Beit Lehem , And under the plo government the city become mostly muslim with 60-80% muslim population ! Because the muslim settlement there and the out emigration of the christian people (imagine why ) . In 2002 in the "holi church" - 40 terrorist were got hided from the IDF and took as a hostages the priests and christians been there - Who told later that the terrorist were using the holly writes as toilet paper and stalled a lot of objects from there . Its called the christian university and there is 70% muslim student ???? No jews !!! If you scare telling the true so keep your mouth shot ! Before I ask your christians friends to comment here !
